Ivan Monsão is graduated from UFBa in Electrical Engineering and have a MSc degree from Unicamp . He is founder and CEO of the BiLab, (Business and Innovation Lab). Without any prior knowledge of music, along with the engineer Paulo Libonati, Ivan combined the most traditional musical instrument from Bahia culture with the technology used to build robots, creating the Berimbot, a robotic berimbau which defies all the probabilities and made a beautiful tribute to Ramiro Musotto during the TEDx Salvador.
