[pilot announcement] Ladies and gentleman, welcome aboard our non-stop service from New York to London.
(Jen) Fly much?
(Bill) All the time, actually.
[buzzing]
[clicking keys]

(Bill) Someone on this flight is threatening to kill someone every 20 minutes, unless $150 million is transferred to this account number.
(David McMillan) We're midway across the Atlantic. How do you kill someone in a crowded plane and get away with it?
[alarm beeping]
[buzzing] Ladies and gentleman, we need every passenger to raise their hands above their head.
(woman) This is a bad idea.
(passenger, angrily) Marshall, we have a right to know what the hell is ..
(David) Agent Marks, the account number you gave us is in your name.

This is a setup. Something else is going on.

[TV news] The FBI, the White house and Inter Pol are confirming that an international flight has been hi-jacked by an air marshal.
(fighter pilot) Agent Marks, our fighter escort has you in their site. Do you hear me?
(Bill) We're running out of time. Do you hear me?
[tone increases in frequency]
(Bill) I'm not hi-jacking this plane.
I'm trying to save it!
