COVID-19 and mental health - Employment, UK - Chris Holme

We have obligations on employers to help people with mental health issues
when we have a disability.
We have the increasing mental health issues.
We have the greater willingness to bring them forward.
We have the greater, perhaps, expectation that employers
will do something.
And often, because of the special relationship that employers have
with their employees, as compared to what is out there from the state
provision, you end up with the employer actually being on
the frontline of trying to help and deal with mental health issues,
which creates difficulties for employers.
