Welcome to this module's case study.
This module focuses on coaching change
and how you can help clients move toward healthful
and sustainable changes in eating mindsets and habits.
We'll explore how you can help simplify it for clients,
empower them, help them respect the process,
and both support and challenge them
around resistance and self-sabotage.
Remember Teresa?
Let's go through the three steps.
Recap, Teresa has physical goals of being more fit,
but she's finding it difficult to reach those goals.
She wishes she saw her family more often,
but she says that her crazy schedule
prevents her from doing so.
Likewise, she says that she's ready to start dating again,
but she says she doesn't have any time to do so.
She has struggled
with chronic stress and fatigue for awhile,
but she's not sure what to do about it.
She feels stuck and lost in general.
She says that her life feels pretty boring.
Mock exercise, in your Learning Center,
you'll see an exercise called Stepping Up to Change.
Teresa's exercise is included after the blank version
that you can try yourself.
And apply,
using the material from the recap and mock exercise,
complete the Case Study Challenge in your Learning Center.
