ADOBE™ TV Presents.... [♪ bluesy music playing ♪] Everyday Timesavers Video: Jason Levine Hello, this is Jason Levine, World Wide Video and Audio Evangalist here at Adobe Systems and as someone who has worked in both industries over the past 15 years, I can tell you that there is no question: Time is money.

Over the course of the next few minutes I'll be showing you how you can save yourself a great deal of time and also become that much more productive by using some incredibly new powerful time-saving features in Production Premium CS4. Specifically in this clip, I'll be talking to you about using the Adobe Media Encoder CS4 to output once and export to many. basically taking a single time-line or sequence from Premier Pro and then being able to push it out to lots of different formats very, very simply and even do it in the background using the power and time-saving brilliance of the Adobe Media Encoder. So here is the standard export dialog from Premier Pro CS4.

And in this case the first thing I want to do with my High-Def content is to export suitable for H.264 BlueRay. When I do that and I click OK, what automatically happens is It's going to send that to the Adobe Media Encoder. Now, previously, you would have seen the dialog locking you out of the application and you couldn't do anything. But once again, the brilliance of the AME CS4 is that this is now entirely running in the background. And, if I wanted to output multiple versions of the same time-line, I can simply select it here, I can click on "Duplicate",

and duplicate any number of times, and then I can choose different formats either in these drop-down menus here, different presets as you see them here, or just choose to edit the export settings for any particular variation here, like so, which will of course take me back to the original Export dialog inside of Premier Pro, allowing me to do all of this very, very quickly, change my settings, I just cancel out of here, start the queue, like so, click back to Premier Pro and continue working just like this. And my friends, all the while, it's processing in the background. I didn't have to do anything. I didn't waste time and now I'm saving time because I can continue to edit, cut, even work on other projects while things are being exported in the Adobe Media Encoder CS4. So if that isn't saving time and saving money, I don't know what is. Fantastic. Well, that's about all the time I have for this particular clip. My Name is Jason Levine, World Wide Product Evangelist at Adobe Systems, healing people's pain points with power, flexibility and incredible time-saving techniques in Premier Pro CS4. And remember, Adobe Creative Suite 4 is your shortcut to savings. ADOBE™ TV Productions
