Come From a Place of Sharing Welcome back. In Level 4, we learned about embracing the process and that sour fruit doesn't necessarily mean bad fruit. We learned that one of the goals in our spiritual work is to be able to identify and find the joy and clarity even in a difficult situation. Of course, it's not that easy But the more we are aware of this understanding, the more we can embrace the process and find the sparks Light that are hidden within. What are some things we can practically do to reconnect ourselves to the Light in a difficult situation? What are some things I can do to speed up the process? In Level 1 we learned that in order to receive the Light, and connect to the Light, our thoughts, our words, and our actions need to reflect those of the Light as well. That means coming from a place of sharing and giving. There are two ways we can do this. One is through what's called: Proactive Sharing, which involves going out of our comfort zone. It's something we're going to dive into a little bit more throughout this level. The other one, as we've learned, is to overcome and resist the voice of my opponent and not to look for the easy way out. There are two forces of receiving in my life. One is called the desire to receive for the self alone. In any given situation, it's the voice of the opponent that says, "What is in it for me?" "What can I get from the situation that will benefit me?" The other force is the desire to receive or the sake of sharing. It's the voice of my soul that says, "If I have more, I'll be able to share more and have a greater impact on the world and the people around me. In both situations, I'm receiving, but the why behind my receiving, why I want something, my agenda, that's what makes all the difference. If you've ever worked in retail, you know that looking for what the customer wants and the customer needs, and not trying to get what you want from the situation. will always create a more favorable result. If you've ever been a customer, you know exactly what it feels like when someone doesn't care what you want at all. They're just trying to sell you something. The agenda I have in my interaction with other people this is what blocks the Light from entering my life. Putting my personal agenda aside, is what allows me to experience more than what my opponent can promise me. I want you to think about a situation in your life, where you are looking for how you can benefit from an interaction with someone. Think about how you can transform and change your agenda. How can you come from a place of caring and wanting to help benefit the other person, and forget about what you want completely. Write it down for yourself. We're going to explore this in more detail in the next Mission. When you're ready--we'll see you there.
