Annotated captions of Gary Yourofsky's Speech: Q&A Session in English

Last Modified By Time Content
danlittledan 00:00
00:01

Let's do some Q&A,

danlittledan 00:01
00:04

we still have about half an hour for Q&A session.

theanimalholocaust 00:04
00:07

You can ask me to clarify something if I didn't.. if it didn't make sense to you,

theanimalholocaust 00:07
00:12

Something in the video - what was going on, why it was going on, how I got started,

theanimalholocaust 00:12
00:16

jail stories, whatever you want - I'm here to please.

danlittledan 00:17
00:19

Somebody popped up back there first.

danlittledan 00:19
00:24

So like, lets say I did want to become a vegetarian,

danlittledan 00:24
00:29

the price range for a week amount of food vs. somebody who eats meat,

theanimalholocaust 00:29
00:37

and goes to Walmart or Target or Kroger, the groceries stores that aren't generally pushed towards vegetarians and vegans

theanimalholocaust 00:37
00:39

what would be the difference in price?

danlittledan 00:39
00:41

It's gonna be cheaper.

theanimalholocaust 00:41
00:44

There's a big myth out there that it's more expensive to be veg...

theanimalholocaust 00:44
00:46

Let me explain this in a couple of different ways.

theanimalholocaust 00:46
00:51

Now, first of all, the cheapest things on the market are cruelty-free and vegan.

danlittledan 00:51
00:54

Rice, beans, lentils, pastas...

theanimalholocaust 00:55
00:56

Things like that.

theanimalholocaust 00:56
01:02

Keep in mind, this is why poor people, impoverished people around the world... they're vegetarians.

theanimalholocaust 01:02
01:04

Eating meat is a luxury.

danlittledan 01:04
01:07

It's only cheap in America 'cause we subsidized the hell out of it!

theanimalholocaust 01:07
01:14

And.. I want you to put one thing into the equation and nobody ever wants to put into the equation.

theanimalholocaust 01:14
01:16

Health.

danlittledan 01:16
01:20

Pharmaceuticals, hospital visits, doctor visits,

danlittledan 01:20
01:22

all these pills, all the vitamins,

theanimalholocaust 01:22
01:23

health care.

danlittledan 01:23
01:26

That stuff was not created for vegans.

danlittledan 01:26
01:28

Those are meat eating creations.

danlittledan 01:28
01:31

I'm about to turn 40 in August,

danlittledan 01:31
01:33

I have no health care.

danlittledan 01:33
01:34

I take no vitamins.

danlittledan 01:34
01:35

I see no doctor.

danlittledan 01:36
01:37

I don't need to.

danlittledan 01:37
01:39

I eat properly and I exercise.

theanimalholocaust 01:39
01:43

So if you put health into the equation,

theanimalholocaust 01:43
01:47

meat eating is the most expensive diet out there, for sure.

danlittledan 01:47
01:51

Also keep in mind, if you do buy processed foods,

danlittledan 01:51
01:53

vegan or non-vegan,

danlittledan 01:53
01:54

you always pay a little extra.

danlittledan 01:54
01:59

If you pay Turtle Island Foods to make you a Tofurky,

danlittledan 01:59
02:02

if you pay Lean Cuisine to make you some kind of meat dish,

danlittledan 02:02
02:04

it's a little more pricier 'cause somebody did it for you.

danlittledan 02:04
02:09

So you could also, if you're really good in the kitchen, make this stuff on your own.

danlittledan 02:09
02:11

Now, I got a recipe section online,

theanimalholocaust 02:11
02:14

I also have a restaurant section and a grocery section, too,

danlittledan 02:14
02:17

so you can always look up that stuff,

danlittledan 02:17
02:21

you can contact me, ask me how do I make this favorite recipe of yours.

danlittledan 02:21
02:22

I will track it down

theanimalholocaust 02:22
02:25

My girlfriend, too, is a wonderful chef as well.

theanimalholocaust 02:25
02:26

So keep all those things into the equation.

theanimalholocaust 02:26
02:29

Let me say one more, too - If you eat out,

danlittledan 02:29
02:31

whether you eat meat or you're vegan,

theanimalholocaust 02:31
02:33

it's always a little more pricier, too.

danlittledan 02:33
02:36

So don't blame it on: "Uh, I went to this vegan restaurant and it was pricey."

theanimalholocaust 02:36
02:38

You know, Outback Steakhouse isn't so cheap either,

theanimalholocaust 02:38
02:41

and Longhorn Steakhouse and all these other places, too.

danlittledan 02:41
02:44

And if you eat out at restaurants, places like Subway,

danlittledan 02:44
02:47

their veggie sub, when they're not doing their $5 special,

danlittledan 02:47
02:50

the veggie sub is always the cheapest thing on their menu,

danlittledan 02:50
02:51

on Italian bread and it's vegan.

danlittledan 02:51
02:54

If you go to Taco Bell, get a bean burrito without the cheese,

danlittledan 02:54
02:57

you wanna talk about dirt-cheap - 99 cents.

danlittledan 02:57
02:59

And I bring this up, 'cause students try to do this with me all the time:

danlittledan 02:59
03:01

"Gary, I understand what you're saying but I'm broke,

danlittledan 03:01
03:05

I'm a college student, only got a dollar, gotta go to McDonald's!"

theanimalholocaust 03:05
03:08

Well, you can do the same nasty shit at Taco Bell too, okay?

danlittledan 03:08
03:10

And I say nasty shit, 'cause if you eat at McDonald's,

danlittledan 03:10
03:12

don't tell me you're eating for taste!

danlittledan 03:13
03:15

Yes sir.

theanimalholocaust 03:15
03:19

So how do you get the same meat taste for a vegan meal? Without using meat.

theanimalholocaust 03:19
03:23

Yeah.. If you use the right combinations of vegetables and spices,

danlittledan 03:23
03:24

you’d be amazed what you can mimic.

danlittledan 03:25
03:27

For instance, there’s a lot of mock-fish that’s out there,

theanimalholocaust 03:27
03:29

I was talking about the shrimp from that company...

danlittledan 03:29
03:33

If you go to a website called Vegieworld: V E G I E, one G,

theanimalholocaust 03:34
03:39

vegieworld.com, they got fake lobster, they got cod, they got salmon... any fish product you’re looking for.

theanimalholocaust 03:39
03:41

They use seaweed.

danlittledan 03:41
03:44

Seaweed gives the fishy smell and the fishy taste.

theanimalholocaust 03:45
03:47

You’ve all had a good Portobello mushroom at some time, too.

danlittledan 03:47
03:51

If you hookup a Portobello mushroom on a grill, tastes awfully steaky.

theanimalholocaust 03:51
03:55

So they use mushrooms when they wanna get a beef flavor, too.

danlittledan 03:56
03:59

Uh, the woman that runs my recipe section, Amy Ball,

danlittledan 03:59
04:02

one of the best chefs that nobody knows about.

theanimalholocaust 04:02
04:04

I was passing through San Francisco a few years ago,

theanimalholocaust 04:04
04:06

and one of my perks for traveling

theanimalholocaust 04:06
04:08

is that I get to eat all over the country.

danlittledan 04:08
04:10

And I know what’s vegan that’s out there,

danlittledan 04:10
04:15

so I stopped by her house and she says: “You want a vegan hard-boiled egg Gary?”

theanimalholocaust 04:15
04:17

She didn’t say vegan, “You want a hard-boiled egg”.

danlittledan 04:17
04:20

I said: “You kidding me? You got a vegan hard-boiled egg?

danlittledan 04:20
04:22

What do you mean? There are no vegan hard-boiled eggs!”

theanimalholocaust 04:22
04:24

She’s like: “I got one for you.”

theanimalholocaust 04:24
04:26

She takes an avocado, slices it in half,

danlittledan 04:27
04:29

takes half of it out.

danlittledan 04:29
04:30

Think of an avocado;

danlittledan 04:30
04:32

think about yolk that’s been hard-boiled,

theanimalholocaust 04:32
04:34

it's the same texture.

theanimalholocaust 04:34
04:35

One's yellow, one's green.

danlittledan 04:35
04:38

She takes the avocado, put it on some vegan mashed potatoes,

danlittledan 04:38
04:42

that’s she made with hemp milk or rice milk, whatever her vegan milk of the day was,

theanimalholocaust 04:42
04:45

that mimicked the outside softness of the egg.

danlittledan 04:45
04:48

She puts two dashes of salt on there and goes: "Take a bite."

theanimalholocaust 04:49
04:51

"Holy shit! Vegan hard-boiled egg."

danlittledan 04:51
04:55

So if you get really creative people in the kitchen,

danlittledan 04:55
04:57

there are a lot of creative chefs out there,

danlittledan 04:57
05:00

they can make anything tastes like something else.

theanimalholocaust 05:00
05:02

So that’s what they’re doing. No chemicals! No chemicals.

theanimalholocaust 05:02
05:03

Yes?

theanimalholocaust 05:04
05:06

Um, some of these meal-like foods,

danlittledan 05:06
05:09

do they have to go the extra length and add a lot of sodium and corn syrup?

danlittledan 05:10
05:12

There’s sodium in there for sure, absolutely.

theanimalholocaust 05:12
05:15

And you know, salt is something that gives things a lot of taste,

theanimalholocaust 05:15
05:18

so, you might have to look out if you wanna watch your sodium.

danlittledan 05:18
05:23

But I don’t want people to be concerned about sodium before you’re concerned about animal protein,

danlittledan 05:23
05:25

cholesterol, saturated fat, all the other things.

danlittledan 05:25
05:26

It’s kinda pointless.

danlittledan 05:26
05:29

It’s kinda like somebody smoking a cigarette in my face and go:

danlittledan 05:29
05:33

”Hey Gary, you shouldn’t really smoke that weed.”

theanimalholocaust 05:33
05:36

I'm like "What?! What are you talking about?" If you are doing something unhealthy,

theanimalholocaust 05:36
05:40

what's the point of trying to find... keep away something else that might be unhealthy for you?

danlittledan 05:40
05:41

Yes.

danlittledan 05:41
05:47

From what I understand, the basic concept of veganism is not to exploit or harm living beings, right?

danlittledan 05:47
05:50

Everything from, say cows to even yeasts.

danlittledan 05:50
05:56

But what about, say if you have to deal with parasites, bacterial infections, diseases from that,

theanimalholocaust 05:56
05:58

how do you go about treating yourself?

theanimalholocaust 05:58
06:01

Yeah.. Self-defense is an acceptable form of protecting yourself.

theanimalholocaust 06:01
06:04

that's understandable, but say.. say as a doctor, in your profession,

theanimalholocaust 06:04
06:08

you have to, I mean you have to go in there and you have to kill, I mean heat...

danlittledan 06:08
06:09

Kill what? Bacteria?

danlittledan 06:09
06:10

Yeah.

theanimalholocaust 06:10
06:13

So, are you founder of "People for the Ethical Treatment of Bacteria"?

danlittledan 06:13
06:16

This is... the only thing that bothers me when this is brought up,

danlittledan 06:16
06:20

is that you want to equate cows in the same level as parasites and bacteria.

danlittledan 06:20
06:22

Oh no, I’m equating bacteria and yeasts together.

danlittledan 06:22
06:27

Okay, but do bacteria harm you most of the time?

danlittledan 06:28
06:30

When they do, they’re harmful,

danlittledan 06:30
06:34

you have the right to defend yourself and kill something that’s harming you.

danlittledan 06:34
06:36

Now, let me explain this in a different way:

theanimalholocaust 06:36
06:40

if you and I were walking through the woods and a bear attacked you and jumped on you,

theanimalholocaust 06:40
06:44

do you really think I’ll be like “Huh, too bad... I’m vegan, man.”

theanimalholocaust 06:45
06:49

I will beat the shit, or try to beat the shit, out of the bear

theanimalholocaust 06:49
06:51

and get him off you as a self-defense.

theanimalholocaust 06:51
06:52

You were attacked.

theanimalholocaust 06:53
06:57

If some human jumped on you for no reason, I’d also protect you, too.

danlittledan 06:57
07:00

If bacteria are killing you and destroying your body,

danlittledan 07:00
07:03

you have the right to destroy the bacteria that’s trying to destroy you.

danlittledan 07:04
07:07

Keep in mind, cows do not attack us.

danlittledan 07:07
07:11

Chickens have never attacked a human being in history.

danlittledan 07:11
07:13

Something else I’m kinda curious about:

theanimalholocaust 07:13
07:15

how come we think we’re better than chickens,

danlittledan 07:15
07:19

when we kill 35 to 40 billion chickens every year on this planet?

danlittledan 07:19
07:22

We’ve been doing this for thousands of years.

danlittledan 07:22
07:27

How is the murderer more special than the murdered?

danlittledan 07:27
07:31

How is the oppressor better than the oppressed?

danlittledan 07:31
07:34

We got this stuff backwards, we’re not better than them.

danlittledan 07:34
07:38

We’re the ones attacking them, that makes us less important,

danlittledan 07:38
07:41

that makes us worse, that makes us evil.

danlittledan 07:41
07:42

Yes.

danlittledan 07:43
07:47

So, say the world population is at 8 billion now,

theanimalholocaust 07:47
07:54

And at least most of the United States', it is considered meat eaters, right?

theanimalholocaust 07:54
08:05

So with only a certain portion of the world being devoted farmland on, you know, places we can grow food...

theanimalholocaust 08:07
08:12

And it just seems to me, that if most of the world went vegan, then it would…

theanimalholocaust 08:12
08:21

I mean, I know your quote on the 65% of the grain goes to meat products,

danlittledan 08:21
08:27

but how would we support ourselves without meat products, I guess that’s what I’m trying to say.. or eggs, or…

danlittledan 08:27
08:29

Easily and wonderfully.

danlittledan 08:29
08:30

Let me throw out some other stats:

theanimalholocaust 08:30
08:33

95% of soy in America - is animal feed.

theanimalholocaust 08:33
08:36

80% of corn in America - animal feed.

theanimalholocaust 08:36
08:39

70% of oats in America - that’s animal feed.

theanimalholocaust 08:39
08:41

If we ate the stuff directly...

theanimalholocaust 08:41
08:45

Do you know that one acre of land can yield 30 thousand pounds of carrots,

danlittledan 08:45
08:50

40 thousand pounds of potatoes and 50 thousand pounds of tomatoes.

danlittledan 08:50
08:53

One acre of land can only give you 250 pounds of meat.

theanimalholocaust 08:53
08:59

Okay? We would be using less land, destroying less habitat,

danlittledan 08:59
09:02

if we just ate crops directly.

danlittledan 09:02
09:04

Please go to the "environment" section of my website

danlittledan 09:04
09:07

or go to a website called earthsave.org,

danlittledan 09:07
09:09

everybody gets fed.

danlittledan 09:09
09:10

Here, let me throw this out there:

theanimalholocaust 09:10
09:15

You know, the world’s largest 'feed the hungry' organization is called Food for Life Global,

danlittledan 09:15
09:17

please look them up online.

theanimalholocaust 09:17
09:19

When I found out about this group,

theanimalholocaust 09:19
09:24

that solely uses vegetarian and vegan food to feed people, 2 million meals per day.

danlittledan 09:24
09:26

I found out about them ‘bout 10 years ago.

theanimalholocaust 09:26
09:31

I also found the 2nd largest group on the planet doing 'feed the hungry' stuff.. is Plenty,

theanimalholocaust 09:31
09:32

plenty.org is their website.

theanimalholocaust 09:32
09:34

Both are vegetarian groups.

danlittledan 09:34
09:36

Now, I sent a letter to both presidents saying:

danlittledan 09:36
09:42

“Oh my God, this is wonderful! Finally somebody realized you don’t have to harm animals to help people.”

danlittledan 09:42
09:47

I got letters back that were almost identical, they said something like this:

danlittledan 09:47
09:49

“It’s not that we do this for ethical reasons,

danlittledan 09:49
09:52

we don’t want to argue with you, we don’t want to debate you on that.

danlittledan 09:52
09:54

We do this because it’s cheaper,

danlittledan 09:54
10:03

and we feed 20 to 30 times the amount of people when we use vegetarian food than when we… than when groups use meat.”

danlittledan 10:03
10:06

Another question, somebody up here? Right there.

danlittledan 10:06
10:10

Um, I agree with you on the vegetables and fruits and all that stuff is really good for you,

theanimalholocaust 10:10
10:19

but I… I guess... Let’s say, processed soy is bad for you because it causes the body to generate extra estrogen.

theanimalholocaust 10:19
10:23

Well, here’s something interesting on that - if estrogen is people’s concern about soy,

danlittledan 10:23
10:28

meat and cow’s milk have twice the amount of estrogen that’s found in soy.

theanimalholocaust 10:28
10:29

But let me break this down for you.

danlittledan 10:29
10:36

The estrogen that’s found in soy is a phytoestrogen, P-H-Y-T-O, plant based.

theanimalholocaust 10:36
10:39

Phytoestrogens cause no harm to the human body, whatsoever.

theanimalholocaust 10:39
10:42

It’s animal estrogens that drive the body crazy.

danlittledan 10:42
10:43

But I got some good news for you,

theanimalholocaust 10:43
10:48

if you’re really concerned about eating soy, you don’t wanna do it... Don’t do it.

danlittledan 10:48
10:53

Eating soy does not mean that you can’t be vegan, or not eating it.

danlittledan 10:53
10:56

There’s wheat-meat, or just get down to the nuts and bolts of veganism:

danlittledan 10:56
11:00

Go fruits and vegetables, lentils and beans and things like that,

danlittledan 11:00
11:03

so you don’t have to make soy part of your diet.

danlittledan 11:03
11:05

And if you wanna go to my website, I hope you do,

danlittledan 11:05
11:08

I got a brand new section about all the myths out there about soy,

theanimalholocaust 11:08
11:13

a lot of them are being spread by Mr. Michael Pollan, “The Omnivore’s Dilemma”.

danlittledan 11:13
11:16

And by the way, what the hell is the dilemma?

danlittledan 11:16
11:19

Is being kind instead of cruel really problematic to people?

danlittledan 11:19
11:25

Michael Pollan, by the way, is a hunter, is an unpaid spokesman for the meat and dairy industries.

danlittledan 11:25
11:30

Please do not go listening to the “Food Inc.” movie or to his “Omnivore’s Dilemma” book,

danlittledan 11:30
11:32

he’s nothing but Ted Nugent-like.

danlittledan 11:33
11:37

-Yes. -I was just wondering if you’re only bought products made in the U.S.?

danlittledan 11:37
11:39

Because you’re advocating like… cruelty-free,

theanimalholocaust 11:39
11:45

but then, what about, like… cruelty to other people in sweatshops? Do you only buy American…

theanimalholocaust 11:45
11:48

Oh yeah, nowadays. You could look at the tag, and it’s from Hemptown.

danlittledan 11:48
11:51

I buy my stuff from vegan companies that pay a fair wage,

theanimalholocaust 11:51
11:56

and yeah, I don’t do the target stuff anymore, the Kohl’s or anything like that.

danlittledan 11:56
12:00

There are a lot of other issues to be concerned about, and I’m glad that this is brought up.

danlittledan 12:00
12:05

But let’s keep in mind the main form of cruelty on the planet, is what we do to the animals.

theanimalholocaust 12:06
12:10

But please, get involved in other issues like avoiding sweatshops,

theanimalholocaust 12:10
12:12

uh… try to buy locally and all that stuff.

danlittledan 12:12
12:14

Do you find that it’s affordable to buy…?

theanimalholocaust 12:14
12:18

Yeah, you know, I got 3 of these shirts.. I just ordered them, they were 9 bucks each,

theanimalholocaust 12:19
12:20

and yeah, they were dirt cheap, too.

danlittledan 12:20
12:24

It’s re… it’s not as difficult as people think, to live ethically.

danlittledan 12:24
12:27

It always seems that way because we’re used to the other way,

danlittledan 12:27
12:29

of not caring about where products come from,

danlittledan 12:29
12:33

not caring about what happens to other animals and to other human beings.

danlittledan 12:34
12:36

Which country were you kicked out of?

theanimalholocaust 12:36
12:40

Uh, Canada kicked me out first in 1999.

theanimalholocaust 12:40
12:45

Uh... This happened because in 1997 I decided I wanted to do more than just be vegan,

danlittledan 12:45
12:49

I wanted to actually free animals who were being held captive.

theanimalholocaust 12:49
12:55

So I went to a mink concentration camp, a fur farm for animals, the Eberts Fur Farm in Blenheim, Ontario.

theanimalholocaust 12:55
13:00

Now, I’m from Michigan, so Canada is just right across, about half an hour, 45 minutes away.

theanimalholocaust 13:00
13:04

So I went to this farm, and I opened up the cages for 1542 mink.

theanimalholocaust 13:04
13:07

Now, mink in the fur industry are killed in two ways:

danlittledan 13:07
13:09

1. They have their necks manually broken,

theanimalholocaust 13:09
13:12

they take them out of the cage and snap their neck against somebody’s knee,

danlittledan 13:12
13:15

or they gas them, back to the concentration camp stuff.

danlittledan 13:15
13:18

Now, things went badly that evening,

theanimalholocaust 13:19
13:21

um... I was arrested,

theanimalholocaust 13:21
13:24

and quickly... 540 mink actually escaped that night.

theanimalholocaust 13:24
13:29

I... Holes were cut in the perimeter fence, there was a little dirt road, and then there were 600 acres of forest.

danlittledan 13:29
13:31

That’s all they had to do is get across the street, find the way out.

theanimalholocaust 13:31
13:35

Unfortunately, a thousand mink never made it off the grounds,

danlittledan 13:35
13:37

uh, for that, they were doomed.

danlittledan 13:37
13:40

All I can give them or anyone else, would be a chance to be free.

theanimalholocaust 13:40
13:45

I mean, lets face it, If you were all being held in captivity, you were gonna have your neck snapped,

danlittledan 13:45
13:48

your skin ripped off your body so somebody else could make a pair of slippers...

danlittledan 13:48
13:50

You’d all be going: “Man, I hope Gary’s coming by tonight,

theanimalholocaust 13:50
13:53

open up this damn cage, give me a chance!”, so...

theanimalholocaust 13:53
13:55

Uh, I got arrested that night,

danlittledan 13:56
13:59

um, I was put in maximum security by the way.

danlittledan 13:59
14:01

I was given a six-month sentence,

danlittledan 14:01
14:06

I did 77 days before they deport me and threw me out and made me persona non grata.

theanimalholocaust 14:06
14:08

And let me just tell you a quick little story, too.

danlittledan 14:08
14:10

While I was in jail, I was with some pretty bad people,

danlittledan 14:10
14:12

child molesters, rapists, murderers, people who are trying to stab people...

theanimalholocaust 14:12
14:16

They were trying to teach me a lesson, they put me in one of the worst places around.

theanimalholocaust 14:16
14:21

So, they put me in the unit, went in on day one, kind of a holding unit before they move me to my unit.

danlittledan 14:21
14:23

And there’s a TV set on in the corner,

danlittledan 14:24
14:26

and the alpha male has got the clicker,

danlittledan 14:26
14:29

He’s...5, 5:30, 6, 6:30 news.

danlittledan 14:29
14:32

Lead story in Canada that night:

theanimalholocaust 14:32
14:35

“International Terrorist Gary Yourofsky Sent to Jail Tonight”

danlittledan 14:35
14:38

“Gary Yourofsky - International Terrorist, Sent to Jail…”

theanimalholocaust 14:38
14:41

I got 'international terrorist' with every mention of my name,

danlittledan 14:41
14:44

I’m from Michigan, and it’s Canada, I am now global.

danlittledan 14:46
14:48

So, I don’t know anybody on day one,

danlittledan 14:48
14:52

I’m standing at the back of the cell and they’re all huddled ‘round the TV.

theanimalholocaust 14:52
14:53

And they finally realized I’m in there with them.

danlittledan 14:53
14:57

One guy’s kinda standing like this… he’s looking around...

danlittledan 14:59
15:00

“Hey! That’s the guy back there… that’s…”

danlittledan 15:00
15:02

He goes around: “That’s the guy back there.”

theanimalholocaust 15:02
15:06

Now, the alpha male gets in, he walks up to me, pretty big guy, he's like:

danlittledan 15:07
15:09

”You’re an international terrorist?”

danlittledan 15:10
15:11

I said:

danlittledan 15:11
15:13

“Yeah.”

danlittledan 15:14
15:17

“’Cause that’s funny man, you don’t look like an international terrorist.”

danlittledan 15:17
15:19

I said: “Maybe it’s because I’m the exact opposite of one,

danlittledan 15:19
15:22

here’s what I did, I freed some mink, they were gonna have their necks broken…”

danlittledan 15:22
15:23

Now, the first thing he said to me,

danlittledan 15:23
15:26

I preached a lot in jail, first thing everybody said to me was:

danlittledan 15:26
15:28

“What the hell is a mink?”

danlittledan 15:29
15:32

"Uh, it’s like a big ferret, it’s in the rodent family…"

danlittledan 15:32
15:37

And the next thing that was always said to me... This is not verbatim, but the intonation is verbatim.

danlittledan 15:37
15:38

It went something like this:

theanimalholocaust 15:39
15:44

“Wait a sec, they put you in here with us...

danlittledan 15:44
15:46

‘cause you freed some rats?”

danlittledan 15:46
15:49

In the end it’s always with an “us”, they knew they were bad. “With us?”

danlittledan 15:49
15:54

I said: “No no no, they put me in here with you, because I also caused $2.1 million of damaged to the mink farm,

danlittledan 15:54
15:58

and put the guy out of business permanently to this day.

danlittledan 15:58
16:02

And we don’t tolerate economic sabotage in our society."

danlittledan 16:02
16:03

One more thing I want you to think about,

danlittledan 16:03
16:07

when they first arrested me, they refused to give me bail.

danlittledan 16:07
16:10

They thought I was gonna bail out, go back to Michigan,

danlittledan 16:10
16:12

and there’s no extradition for mink liberation.

theanimalholocaust 16:12
16:15

So, I had a 10-day bail hearing!

danlittledan 16:15
16:18

I bring this up ‘cause I challenge anybody in this room,

danlittledan 16:18
16:22

find me a 10-day bail hearing for a rapist, a murderer or a child molester.

theanimalholocaust 16:22
16:25

Won’t do it. But, the mink liberator gets 10 days.

theanimalholocaust 16:25
16:29

Now, on day 10 my attorney, Steve Rogan,

danlittledan 16:29
16:37

found out that the same exact judge, Elaine Babcock, that have been denying me bail for 10 days,

danlittledan 16:37
16:40

had just giving a man from Michigan, 3 weeks earlier,

danlittledan 16:40
16:45

$1000 bail, 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct.

danlittledan 16:45
16:46

Now, you know how judges can get

theanimalholocaust 16:46
16:47

when they don’t wanna hear something in their courtroom.

theanimalholocaust 16:47
16:49

Boy, she goes flushed red, top of her voice, she goes:

theanimalholocaust 16:49
16:52

“Steve, don’t you dare bring that up in my courtroom!

theanimalholocaust 16:52
16:55

That’s got nothing to do with this case, and you damn well know it!”

danlittledan 16:55
16:58

Now, I’m sitting over there in the defendant’s box, I can’t talk to my attorney now,

danlittledan 16:58
16:59

he was pacing in there,

theanimalholocaust 16:59
17:02

but in my head, I go like: “Don’t back down, don’t back down, don’t back down...”

danlittledan 17:02
17:05

So he’s pacing and pacing, I’m like: “Come on Steve...”

danlittledan 17:05
17:06

And 30 seconds later, he turns and he says:

theanimalholocaust 17:06
17:11

“You know what, Your Honor? It’s got everything to do with this case!

danlittledan 17:11
17:14

My client, tried to stop cruelty,

danlittledan 17:14
17:18

and he wants to go to jail at this point and make a statement on behalf of the animals.

danlittledan 17:18
17:22

You gave that guy, from Michigan bail for sexually assaulting a woman,

danlittledan 17:22
17:25

and you won’t give my client bail?”

danlittledan 17:25
17:27

She looks at me for the first time in 10 days,

danlittledan 17:27
17:29

and I was like…

danlittledan 17:31
17:34

“Well… $10,000 bail.”

danlittledan 17:35
17:37

Now, agree or disagree with lawbreaking,

danlittledan 17:37
17:38

and I hope you understand,

danlittledan 17:38
17:41

everybody that we all collectively admire:

danlittledan 17:41
17:47

Dr. King, Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Henry David Thoreau, Jesus...

danlittledan 17:47
17:48

were all radical lawbreakers.

theanimalholocaust 17:48
17:54

Every single person on this planet that ever made substantive change, was a radical lawbreaker.

theanimalholocaust 17:54
17:57

Even if for some reason, you don’t think that I should be breaking law,

danlittledan 17:58
17:59

or that people should break laws,

theanimalholocaust 17:59
18:05

you can’t tell me, it should cost $1000 to sexually assault a woman for bail,

danlittledan 18:05
18:08

and $10,000 to free some rats.

danlittledan 18:09
18:11

Bottom line in this:

danlittledan 18:11
18:14

Sexually assaulting a woman doesn’t affect the economy.

danlittledan 18:14
18:19

And we just don’t care about things that don’t affect the root of all evil-

theanimalholocaust 18:19
18:20

Money.

theanimalholocaust 18:21
18:22

Question?

danlittledan 18:23
18:29

A: What got you started? and B: What’s the tattoo on your arm?

theanimalholocaust 18:30
18:33

Tattoo is me with a mask on, holding a bunny rabbit,

theanimalholocaust 18:33
18:37

and it says “Praesto et Persto”, which is Latin for “I stand in front and I stand firm”.

theanimalholocaust 18:37
18:40

And it says "ALF - Animal Liberation Front",

danlittledan 18:40
18:43

which is a group that goes around, there’s no membership,

danlittledan 18:43
18:49

but anybody that goes around and liberates an animal or destroys the place that tortures, is considered an ALF member.

theanimalholocaust 18:49
18:55

Uh, what got me started was my stepdad is a clown in the Shrine Circus.

theanimalholocaust 18:56
18:58

Takes me backstage when I'm 23.

theanimalholocaust 18:58
19:00

And mind you, I got my blinders on too,

danlittledan 19:00
19:04

I can care less about animals besides the dogs that are, you know, in my life...

danlittledan 19:04
19:07

Or if a chipmunk runs by me, I’m like: “Hey! There’s a chipmunk.”

danlittledan 19:07
19:09

But I’m like everybody else, I’m eating dead animals,

danlittledan 19:09
19:12

I could care less about cows and pigs and what they’re going through.

danlittledan 19:12
19:16

And he invites me backstage and said: “Do you want to come see the elephants?”

danlittledan 19:16
19:19

I’m like: “Hell yeah! I wanna see the elephants. Are you kidding me?

theanimalholocaust 19:19
19:21

Can I bring Wendy with me, too?”. My girlfriend at that time.

danlittledan 19:21
19:22

He said: “Yeah! Bring Wendy down.”

theanimalholocaust 19:22
19:25

So Wendy and I go backstage, we’re excited!

danlittledan 19:25
19:27

We were like playfully pushing each other like: “I’m first... first… first…”

danlittledan 19:28
19:29

Until we got back there

danlittledan 19:29
19:32

and we just stopped dead in our tracks.

danlittledan 19:32
19:39

When you see cruelty in front of your face, you don’t need somebody to explain it to you.

danlittledan 19:39
19:42

I knew what I was seeing was evil.

danlittledan 19:42
19:44

3 elephants were lined up in chains,

danlittledan 19:44
19:45

front left foot,

danlittledan 19:45
19:46

back right foot,

theanimalholocaust 19:46
19:51

each of them chained up to the cement floor of the warehouse of the Michigan State Fairgrounds.

danlittledan 19:51
19:56

I look to the left I saw… I saw a monkey, screaming and grabbing the bars of his prison.

theanimalholocaust 19:56
20:00

I saw 2 tigers to the right of me pacing, pathetically.

danlittledan 20:00
20:04

And I turned to Wendy, pardon my language, but I’ll tell you exactly what I said.

danlittledan 20:04
20:09

I said: “What the fuck is an elephant doing on 8 Mile and Woodward Ave. in Detroit in the first place?”

danlittledan 20:10
20:11

And she said: “I don’t know.”

danlittledan 20:11
20:15

And we walked up, face to face with these elephants,

danlittledan 20:15
20:17

and if you pay attention to energy,

theanimalholocaust 20:17
20:20

and please don’t think this is weird, we do this all the time.

danlittledan 20:20
20:23

Like with babies with infants, they don’t talk and communicate,

danlittledan 20:23
20:25

but if a baby starts crying...

danlittledan 20:25
20:29

“Please don’t… You thirsty? What...are you hungry? You need to be changed?”

danlittledan 20:29
20:31

You’d figured out, look at their eyes, look at their movement.

danlittledan 20:31
20:34

These elephants were swaying like this, neurotically.

danlittledan 20:35
20:38

Now, I’m no elephant expert but I know that’s not elephant behavior.

danlittledan 20:38
20:42

I later found out that’s a neurotic behavior every elephant gets in every circus,

danlittledan 20:42
20:46

‘cause they’re kept in chain. In the wild, elephants walk 20-50 miles a day.

danlittledan 20:46
20:48

I looked into their eyes,

danlittledan 20:48
20:51

I saw nothing but hopelessness and fear,

danlittledan 20:51
20:52

and I knew something was wrong.

danlittledan 20:52
20:56

So that got me thinking... Where do my food come from?

danlittledan 20:56
20:58

Where do my shoes come from?

danlittledan 20:58
21:01

What really goes on in an animal research lab?

danlittledan 21:01
21:02

So that’s when I started investigating,

danlittledan 21:02
21:07

I’ve mentioned this earlier, I started going in to the Thorn Apple Valley pigs slaughterhouse.

danlittledan 21:07
21:10

I started going into animal research labs.

theanimalholocaust 21:10
21:14

And.. I fought it at first, like everybody been… well… like most people do,

theanimalholocaust 21:14
21:18

I didn’t wanna stop eating the animal, what else am I gonna eat? Salads all day long?

theanimalholocaust 21:18
21:21

I mean, it’s really like… it’s a myth out there,

theanimalholocaust 21:21
21:24

that all vegans live off of, is iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.

danlittledan 21:24
21:27

Okay, this is not true, but that’s what I thought too…

theanimalholocaust 21:27
21:32

So anyways, the more I thought about it, the more I realized, that I was a hypocrite.

danlittledan 21:32
21:34

And here’s a paradox I want you to think about:

danlittledan 21:34
21:38

Why do we call some animals "pets"…

danlittledan 21:38
21:39

and others "dinner"?

danlittledan 21:39
21:42

Why do we fight for the rights of certain animals,

danlittledan 21:42
21:44

to be happy and loved and safe?

danlittledan 21:45
21:48

Dogs and cats in America... But others?

theanimalholocaust 21:48
21:50

"Hey! Slice their beaks off!

danlittledan 21:50
21:54

Those damn hens, slice them off. Fully conscious!

danlittledan 21:54
21:56

Those pigs, those piglets...

danlittledan 21:56
21:59

rip their testicles out, screw ‘em!"

danlittledan 21:59
22:02

There’s a major hypocrisy going on.

danlittledan 22:02
22:04

You can see the choice that I make.

theanimalholocaust 22:04
22:07

All I can ask you to do, is put your head on your pillow every night,

danlittledan 22:07
22:11

and know that you are not responsible for premeditated acts of cruelty.

danlittledan 22:11
22:16

Again, the world is tough enough for us, and especially for the animals.

danlittledan 22:17
22:19

Do we have to make it worse by eating them?

theanimalholocaust 22:19
22:21

There’s no need, in this day and age,

theanimalholocaust 22:21
22:24

to be consuming any animal product, whatsoever.

danlittledan 22:24
22:26

It's time to let it go.

theanimalholocaust 22:26
22:31

So, I noticed when I came in here, that you are not a member of PETA, why is that?

theanimalholocaust 22:31
22:32

Ahh… I’m screwed.

danlittledan 22:35
22:36

Uh, full disclosure:

danlittledan 22:36
22:40

2002-2005 till November, PETA funded my tour.

danlittledan 22:40
22:41

I was never a PETA employee.

danlittledan 22:41
22:45

I took money from them as a sponsor - Independent contractor.

danlittledan 22:45
22:48

Um, I take money from anybody to do good things with it,

danlittledan 22:49
22:52

I don’t think it’s wrong to take evil money and do good things with it.

danlittledan 22:52
22:58

Now, PETA pulled their funding from me in November ’05, ‘cause they told me that education isn’t important.

theanimalholocaust 23:00
23:02

Really?

danlittledan 23:02
23:05

It’s the only thing that ever made the world a better place,

danlittledan 23:05
23:10

was teaching somebody else ‘bout why they shouldn’t discriminate or harm somebody else.

theanimalholocaust 23:10
23:14

But, bottom line with PETA... The corporation that is PETA...

danlittledan 23:14
23:16

With their corporate headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia...

danlittledan 23:17
23:20

I’m a money-taker and not a moneymaker.

danlittledan 23:20
23:22

I told you during the speech and I meant it.

danlittledan 23:22
23:25

I’ve never once charged a school for a lecture.

danlittledan 23:25
23:29

I’ve never once charged a professor to pay me to come to their classes.

danlittledan 23:29
23:32

I’ve never once passed around a collection plate to students.

danlittledan 23:32
23:36

I do not believe you should have to pay to learn about the truth.

danlittledan 23:36
23:37

Now, PETA…

danlittledan 23:37
23:40

It costs me about $64,000 a year to do this tour,

danlittledan 23:40
23:46

35 to 40 is the travel, hotels, rental cars, food, gas...

danlittledan 23:46
23:48

Uh, it’s not cheap ‘cause if I’m on the road seven and a half months a year,

theanimalholocaust 23:48
23:51

I take the rest so I can just live and pay my own bills,

danlittledan 23:51
23:55

which is meager, it’s a meager salary that I get for doing this.

danlittledan 23:55
23:58

Um, but in the end, the accountants came in to PETA’s headquarters...

danlittledan 23:59
24:02

Um… Ingrid Newkirk’s offices, she’s the founder and president of PETA,

danlittledan 24:02
24:06

and said: “You know we’ve given Gary $64,000 for 3 years,

danlittledan 24:06
24:08

that’s $192,000.

danlittledan 24:08
24:12

We also gave him $20,000 to put his speeches on DVD,

theanimalholocaust 24:12
24:16

that he gave out for free to the students, when he was supposed to charge them 10 bucks.”

danlittledan 24:16
24:19

When I first got these DVDs, people would always come up and say:

danlittledan 24:19
24:21

“Hey Gary, I wanna share this with my boyfriend,

danlittledan 24:21
24:23

my girlfriend, my dad, my sister… whatever…”

danlittledan 24:23
24:26

And I’d go: “Oh, great, I got some DVDs, they’re 10 bucks.”

theanimalholocaust 24:26
24:28

And, you know, the average student would say:

danlittledan 24:28
24:30

“I’m broke, I’m a student, what do you mean 10 bucks?”

danlittledan 24:30
24:33

I’m like: “Huh, okay, here you go…”

theanimalholocaust 24:33
24:37

So I ended up… I gave out at least 95%, if not more, of my DVDs.

danlittledan 24:37
24:40

Well, PETA found out about that, they were pissed off, and I used to say:

danlittledan 24:40
24:44

“You guys make $25 million a year,

theanimalholocaust 24:44
24:49

you can’t give out a couple thousand DVDs to people, that are actually now begging

danlittledan 24:49
24:52

to learn more about animal rights and veganism?"

theanimalholocaust 24:52
24:55

So that, you know, obviously ended our relationship,

danlittledan 24:55
24:58

when they pulled their funding from me. But something else...

theanimalholocaust 24:58
25:01

I always condemned PETA - when I first started, while I took their money,

theanimalholocaust 25:01
25:04

and now, that I don’t take their money, I still condemn them.

danlittledan 25:04
25:07

They exploit women. Their tactics are so ridiculous.

danlittledan 25:07
25:11

They’re always looking for a naked woman. Like Pam Anderson,

danlittledan 25:11
25:13

they wanna put Pam Anderson’s boobs on billboard all the time.

danlittledan 25:13
25:17

Now, listen, I dig that Pam Anderson cares about animals, honestly.

danlittledan 25:17
25:20

But her boobs don’t make anybody go vegan!

danlittledan 25:20
25:23

Now, when I used to bring this up with Ingrid, she used to say:

danlittledan 25:23
25:28

“Do you know how many people see those billboards than see your speech? ”

danlittledan 25:28
25:30

I’m like: “Oh, it’s not even close, millions more.”

danlittledan 25:30
25:33

Are you telling me guys who are walking through Time Square, New York City,

theanimalholocaust 25:33
25:35

there’s Pamela’s billboard, and they go:

danlittledan 25:36
25:38

“Holy shit, look at those tits!

danlittledan 25:38
25:40

Let’s get some tofu!”

danlittledan 25:41
25:45

There’s no connection. Now, listen, I understand…

danlittledan 25:45
25:50

I understand why sex is used, why women are exploited to sell products,

danlittledan 25:50
25:51

I don’t like it.

theanimalholocaust 25:51
25:55

But, if you tell guys: "Spray this on,

danlittledan 25:55
25:59

and 12 women are gonna tackle you in the hallway and have sex with you!"

theanimalholocaust 25:59
26:02

Boy! Guys are out like: "Gimme some AXE, spray it all over me!"

danlittledan 26:02
26:05

You tell a guy: “You’re gonna get laid if you buy a Harley!”

theanimalholocaust 26:05
26:06

Boy! Guys wanna go and get a Harley!

danlittledan 26:07
26:09

But you show Pam Anderson’s boobs…

danlittledan 26:09
26:10

Nothing.

danlittledan 26:10
26:13

In. Out. Doesn’t do anything.

danlittledan 26:13
26:17

And there’s a lot more horrible things going on in PETA.

danlittledan 26:17
26:18

I actually have an essay on my website,

danlittledan 26:19
26:21

if you click on "Other Animal Rights Issues",

danlittledan 26:21
26:24

I have an essay entitled “What’s Wrong with PETA?”

danlittledan 26:24
26:27

and “What’s Wrong with the Humane Society of the US?”

danlittledan 26:27
26:32

Uh, which is nothing but an animal welfare group, that doesn’t wanna see… to free animals at all.

theanimalholocaust 26:33
26:35

Uh… Next question. Let’s go up here and we’ll go back there in a sec.

danlittledan 26:36
26:37

Um… You mentioned the pet thing earlier,

theanimalholocaust 26:38
26:41

how do feel about, you have pets that are carnivores and feeding them meat?

danlittledan 26:41
26:42

Bad idea!

danlittledan 26:42
26:44

Now, let me preface this,

danlittledan 26:44
26:48

I do not challenge anybody’s love for their dog or cat...

theanimalholocaust 26:48
26:50

If you're a sane person, sane people,

theanimalholocaust 26:50
26:53

who have dogs and cats, treat them like family members.

theanimalholocaust 26:53
26:55

Unlike Michael Vick...

danlittledan 26:55
26:59

But, you brought up a major problem with them.

danlittledan 26:59
27:01

Now, number one is they’re carnivores.

danlittledan 27:01
27:07

Now, this means we have to enslave and kill more cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys and fish

theanimalholocaust 27:07
27:10

to feed the dogs and cats that we like more than the cows and the pigs.

danlittledan 27:10
27:12

Now, hear me on this...

danlittledan 27:12
27:16

I don’t care what carnivores do on their own in the wild. Who cares…

danlittledan 27:16
27:19

I got the Planet Life series, uh, Planet Earth series,

danlittledan 27:19
27:21

I watch them on National Geographic,

danlittledan 27:21
27:24

I can watch a lion tear up a zebra to pieces, it doesn’t bother me.

danlittledan 27:24
27:28

But we have no business killing on their behalf.

danlittledan 27:28
27:30

And I’ll explain this in a simple way.

theanimalholocaust 27:30
27:32

Who’s got a cat? Somebody’s got to have a cat, in front? Somebody?

danlittledan 27:32
27:35

Do you ever go outside and kill birds for your cat?

danlittledan 27:35
27:37

-No, he brings them back... –Thank you.

danlittledan 27:37
27:39

Cat does it on his own.

danlittledan 27:39
27:41

Nobody kills a bird for their cat.

theanimalholocaust 27:41
27:46

But, you pay people at the slaughterhouse to kill birds for Science Diet, Iams,

danlittledan 27:46
27:47

and all the other pet food.

danlittledan 27:47
27:50

Just like we pay people to kill chickens and pigs for us ‘cause

danlittledan 27:50
27:53

most people can’t shove a knife in... you know... somebody else’s throat.

danlittledan 27:53
27:56

So, bad idea to have carnivorous pets.

theanimalholocaust 27:56
27:59

Now, good news: In this day and age,

danlittledan 28:00
28:01

uh… there’s vegan dog food and cat food.

danlittledan 28:01
28:03

Now, this being said...

danlittledan 28:03
28:06

I am not here to turn your dogs and cats to vegans.

danlittledan 28:06
28:08

I did not get kicked out of 5 countries,

theanimalholocaust 28:08
28:11

by the way, the other 4 countries, somebody asked, were uh…

theanimalholocaust 28:11
28:14

England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

danlittledan 28:14
28:17

Even though I never set foot on their land ever,

danlittledan 28:17
28:20

they preemptively threw me out, 'cause they didn’t like my assays.

danlittledan 28:20
28:25

But I did not get… I did not get arrested 13 times to turn your dogs and cats into vegans.

theanimalholocaust 28:25
28:28

But, if you knew what was in dog food and cat food...

theanimalholocaust 28:28
28:30

Let me mention the other problem of having dogs and cats,

danlittledan 28:30
28:31

we over breed them.

danlittledan 28:31
28:36

Every year we murder 5 to 10 million dogs and cats in our shelters every year...

danlittledan 28:36
28:38

These are now slaughterhouses.

danlittledan 28:38
28:42

So there needs to be a moratorium, too, until every cage is empty.

danlittledan 28:42
28:46

But those 5-10 million dogs and cats in shelters that we kill every year,

danlittledan 28:46
28:50

raise your hand if you think they end up in a landfill.

danlittledan 28:52
28:52

You’re wrong.

danlittledan 28:53
28:54

Once a week,

danlittledan 28:54
28:57

the rendering truck comes around, picks 'em all up,

danlittledan 28:57
29:01

and grinds them up and sells them to Science Diet, Alpo and Iams

danlittledan 29:01
29:02

and all the pet food companies.

danlittledan 29:02
29:05

So we’re making our dogs and cats cannibals,

danlittledan 29:05
29:08

and they don’t even eat real meat that they would normally eat.

danlittledan 29:08
29:11

I never talked about chemicals in all the animals that people eat...

danlittledan 29:11
29:13

This is for you too!

danlittledan 29:13
29:17

This is a whole other issue on the side, that I’m more focused about ethics and stuff...

danlittledan 29:17
29:19

Okay, but they eat… they eat chemically laced meat.

danlittledan 29:19
29:22

They eat what’s left on the slaughterhouse floor, things that we don’t eat.

theanimalholocaust 29:22
29:24

Every time there’s a meat recall,

danlittledan 29:24
29:26

or a spinach recall for E. coli...

danlittledan 29:26
29:30

You don’t think that stuff ends up in landfill, do you?

danlittledan 29:30
29:33

Science Diet and Alpo and Iams…

danlittledan 29:33
29:36

So, this is why the vegan food is better for them.

theanimalholocaust 29:36
29:39

Now, I wanna show you something real quick. Actually, I knew this was gonna happen this summer.

theanimalholocaust 29:39
29:41

I have never shown this before, but...

theanimalholocaust 29:41
29:46

My dog, Rex, passed away in 2004, he was 15 years old.

danlittledan 29:47
29:50

And Rex was a vegan for the last 9 years of his life.

theanimalholocaust 29:50
29:53

Nature’s Recipe, vegan dog food formula.

theanimalholocaust 29:53
29:56

Um… Don’t tell me Rex doesn’t look wonderful, ‘cause he does.

theanimalholocaust 29:56
29:58

‘Cause when I travel with him, and he came with me a lot on the road,

danlittledan 29:59
30:00

I took him to vets when I had to,

theanimalholocaust 30:00
30:03

every vet freaked out and said: “Oh my God!

danlittledan 30:03
30:06

you can’t make your dog a vegan Gary, ‘cause you’re a vegan! He’s a carnivore.”

danlittledan 30:06
30:08

I’m like: “Go ahead, do some blood work on him.”

danlittledan 30:08
30:11

They all do blood work, call me 3 or 4 days later say:

danlittledan 30:11
30:14

“Mr. Yourofsky, all the vets are in the back room right now, we are astonished.

danlittledan 30:14
30:17

Your dog is in the most amazing health we’ve ever seen.”

danlittledan 30:17
30:20

I said: “Yes, ‘cause my dog doesn’t eat garbage.”

theanimalholocaust 30:20
30:21

And when I say 'the garbage', too...

danlittledan 30:22
30:24

When I was at Thorn Apple Valley for six weeks,

danlittledan 30:24
30:27

every day I saw a truck pull into the lot,

theanimalholocaust 30:27
30:31

the side of the truck says “meat not fit for human consumption”.

theanimalholocaust 30:32
30:37

I watched the truck go into the alleyway every day, took three garbage bins and dumped them out...

danlittledan 30:37
30:38

The garbage bins.

danlittledan 30:38
30:40

Right off to the pet food company.

danlittledan 30:40
30:42

It wasn’t hard to track that down.

danlittledan 30:42
30:44

So this is way that vegan stuff is better.

theanimalholocaust 30:44
30:46

Now, the vegan cat food, by the way, is not on the market,

theanimalholocaust 30:46
30:49

gotta go online and, I think vegancats.com,

danlittledan 30:49
30:50

or evolution.com.

danlittledan 30:50
30:56

Uh, but vegan dog food, uh.. is at every pet food store that I’ve seen.

danlittledan 30:56
30:58

Uh… It’s called Nature’s Recipe.

danlittledan 30:58
30:59

Um… Question?

theanimalholocaust 31:00
31:01

Oh, I’m sorry, I see we’re out of time.

theanimalholocaust 31:02
31:06

You know what? Thank you very much for listening, I appreciate it. I can take after class.
