Archimedes and the ray of death!

Archimedes proposed a theory using parabolic mirror to set fire in enemies ships. Myth busters said he was incorrect and classified the archimedes's theory like a myth, but Dr. Wallace, a professor of mechanical engeneering proved Archimedes was correct and set fire in a ship using the theory by Archimedes. The temperature was more than 400ºC and the wood burned.
