So Christian do you take supplements?
Christian: Yes, I take Supplements every day.
Teresa: How long have you been taking supplements?
Christian: I started taking them when I started training to compete.
Teresa: Is the supplement you most use Protein shakes?
Christian: Yes, I have to intake more protein because I am an elite soccer player
Teresa: Ohhhh
Christian: Yes, my body demands more from me.
Teresa: And what effects does this supplement have on you?
Christian: Protein shakes allow my muscles to heal up quicker. This also helps prevent injury after a long day of training. Take it after the work-out so that the micro tears start healing.
Teresa: Do you chose what supplements you take?
Christian. No, we have a strict nutrition plan that is created by our Nutritionist.
Teresa: Is there a big disadvantage for teams that don’t use supplements?
Christian: Yes, Supplements give us the extra push to be better.
Teresa: What other supplements do you take?
Christian: CLA to reduce, body fat, Glutamine for workout recovery, taurine for metabolism function, and creatine to increase power and strength
Christian: Yes, I take BCAA/ Leucine (Reduce muscle soreness)
