Candidate Free Air Time: 2008 Christopher Lee

Hi, I'm Chris Lee. I spent the majority of my career helping to build a manufacturing business and creating jobs here in western New York. So, why am I running for Congress? It's simple. We need people in Washington who understand how difficult it is to meet a payroll. Who understand how needless regulation from Albany and Washington hamper our ability to grow. And most importantly, who truly understand how difficult it is to earn a dollar, and therefore will be better stewards of your hard-earned tax dollars. I'm also raising my family here and I want my young son, as well as your children and grandchildren to have the same opportunity to find good-paying jobs in this area. I have the real-world experience to help bring change to Washington. I will fight to break the gridlock between parties and start providing real results and restore tax-payer trust. I will fight to get government out of the way so small businesses can do what they do best, create good paying jobs. I will shrink Washington and grow Western New York by implementing fiscal discipline cutting taxes, and promoting American made energy. Through expanded exploration, growth in alternative energy sources and promotion of conservation, we can create good paying jobs in our community to get this economy back on track. We need a new direction in Congress and a leader who has the real world experience to make a positive difference. I would be honored to have your support this November. Together we can get Washington working again for western New York. Thank you.
