RUSSIAN : SCHOOL FOR SPIES

At this selective boarding school for girls between 11 and 15, the girls wake at dawn each day and put on their uniforms, outfits inspired by those the Tsarist army officers-in-training. The curriculum includes classes in dance, morals and sewing, as well as dismantling Kalashnikovs and firing pistols. The teachers are veterans of Afghanistan or Chechnya, helping these girls realise their dream of following in their parents’ footsteps… and joining the Russian Army, FSB or KGB.
