Are You a BadAss Teacher?

It seems almost every day in America decisions are being made about our children´s education. Decisions that can dictate their future. These decisions are not made by parents and they are not made by educators. They are being made by corporations. Corporations that are focused on their bottom line. But we must bring the focus back to our children. Students are so much more than a test score, so much more than a number. Teachers will no longer be silenced by an atmosphere of fear, they will no longer allow these policy makers to regard them as insignificant. They are now fighting for the lives of all the children in our public school system. Through their frustrations and their anger they have found their collective voices and today they raise them in unison to send a message loud and unapologetically that enough is enough. We must change the course at corporate reformist charter[?], and no corporation, legislator or policy maker will stand in our way. So beware. I´m a badass teacher the movement starts now.
