Ron Paul's Full Speech at CPAC 2011- 번역 김 세 원 Thank you very much 대단히 감사합니다 Thank you 감사합니다 Nice to see everybody, great to see you 여러분을 만나게 되어 반갑습니다 I'm glad to see the revolution is continuing 개혁이 계속되어 기쁩니다 Well, we have first seen the some of the results of 먼저 지난 해 선거 결과 우리는 the revolution few years ago, that was last year election 과거 수년간 개혁을 확인할 수 있었습니다 I understand we had few new members sent to Congress 상원에 새멤버가 들어왔고 and we have to thank you for it 그 모두 여러분의 힘이었습니다 but I do want to take a moment to take a little special privilege to say; we also have a new senator 자부를 느끼며 드릴 말씀은 새 의원이 영입되었단 겁니다 from Kentucky Henry Hyde II 바로 켄터키 주의 헨리 하이드 2세입니다 [email protected] so there's a lot of exciting things going on there is truly a revolution going on in 여러 가지 변화가 이 나라에서 개혁으로 일어나고 this country 있으며 and we've been dealing with this and I encourage in it because I do believe that we live in a 우리 모두가 하는 일에 고무적인 희망과 함께 time where we do need 우리가 사는 이 시대에서 사고의 a change in attitude a change in ideas. We don't need to just change the political parties, 변화, 행동의 변화가 필요하며 정당의 변화만이 능사는 아닙니다 we need to change our philosophy about what this country is all about. 이 나라에 관한 철학을 바꿔야할 필요가 있습니다 You know, this past week we have a pretty good that victory for the freedom movement. We have 아시는 대로 이번 주 자유운동의 승리를 위한 모임을 가졌고 a vote will come up all the sudden under suspension 정지된 선거가 급히 드러 날 텐데 and it had to do with the Patriot Act. In the Patriot Act 애국법안과 관계가 있으며 the Patriot Act we know is has nothing to do with patriotism and they always named 애국법안이란 애국심과는 아무 관련없는 허울이며 opposite what it is. The Patriot Act 살상 그 반대라는 거죠. 애국법은 is literally 글자 그대로 the destruction of the fourth amendment that is what is all about 제 4조를 망쳐 버린 게 전부였습니다 camelot playing in washington they haven't what he's doing is what's happening in grassroots 워싱턴의 낙관론자들은 민심에 일어나는 일을 어찌 해야할 지도 모르고 있는데 america because they are still on 저들은 여전히 미국인들 모두가 that everybody loved the patriot act will bring it up burger suspension patterson automatically well we didn't get a majority vote but they didn't pass it automatically get a two-third vote sending a message for this country is waking up we want to protect our civil liberties as well as our economic liberties this week i was scheduled to be on a financial program i've been on a few of those lately talking about things like the federal reserve in a few other things well i i never got around to talking about this program this week about the reserve because all of a sudden there is a speech be given uh... given by mubarek about his potential resignation of course he resigned today so that was the subject bad guys lot of people now say what's our position be what she opposition to be about buying the next dictator of indeed yes and i would say we need to do a lot less a lot sooner not only in egypt but around the world some people wanna argue with that thought that say we have a moral responsibility to spread our goodness around the world inside obligation but let me tell you fiscal conservatives should look at this carefully how much did we had best in that dictator over the past thirty years seventy eight billion dollars we invested in encino and guess what the current government is crumbling in the people are upset non with their government but they're upset with us for propping up that the puppet dictator for all those years adding insult to injury where do you think the money when dismissed banking cap that family have a very good family has forty fifty sixty billion dollars nobody noticed step castaway other countries other abu armani uh... you know it used to be a conservative or against forename i'm still against for nate frye everybody however saying that used to describe ornate forty-eight is taking money from the poor people of the rich country beginning it to the rich people of the poor country the event at the airport that what we did with the we took money from you many people poorer contributed to our debt billions and billions of dollars and all we get details from it and and and instability there's nothing wrong with what the founders talked about they talked about having friendships and trading getting along with people and saying out of the entangling alliance in the internal affairs of four nations when it's none of our best we've been doing it for a long time and you get the rate of relative stability here is relative stability when we were uh... propping up the shopping and end up with a bad results we ended up with the ayatollah now we have a problem on our hands but all the middle east is guns and stable because it is now it's tina's yet now it's an exit c gypped it's going to keep going because all the problems are there because the people don't like us propping up their dictators no more than we would like to give a foreign country came in here and propped up a dictator in our country for their reallocate your is that this will most likely spree added when he gets to saudi arabia his disruption there there and you are going to see some real problems and we'll be a partial consequence all-powerful on foreign policy temporary stability does not guarantee stability that we need around the world and decides we just flat don't have the money and we shouldn't be doing just remember the uh... soviet system did not collapse because we had to fight them they collapse for economic reasons just where rear final uh... plans was not internet on their uh... and mark pianists the so it makes no sense for us to think that we can keep troops in off hunter and thirty five countries not hundred bases i think we can do it for ever so no matter how badly you want us to do that it's time to reassess that foreign policy its time tries to bring troops of what their children to be as his world war two and traveling wyatt well you know um... there's often a lot of talk about the budget deficit and uh... that's that's something that was concerned about you know just a few years back like nineteen seventy six that's okay and that's why i haven't voted for any appropriation bills and during that period of time either but we were starting to recognize it's bad you know we have to do something about it we have to have a balanced budget amendment all these things we you know uh... the unfortunately is even despite the improvement in the congress right now we don't have the votes which is tragic it's going to contain and we're going to continue the bailout we're going to continue to spend the money nobody wants to cut i'm sure you have two people is really woke up one penny on the military and the military is not equated to defense defense spending that's one thing military spending is what eisenhower called the military industrial complex that's a as you although i'm sure would agree is out of control is very hard for us to get a handle on it so they say we even theoretically in america happened and we balance the budget where we are today it would be still a disaster of this was spending too much money the windshields of all what when the price discounts guests who does the bailing out the fat was argues four billion dollars style without congressional approval and most people that all of that there was a rabin's job to do that no it is not a lot to check out the final at the federal reserve has done aunt deb and find out who their bodies are located federal reserve creeds money out of thin air they came on the bank central banks of the world to other governments in international financial institutions it we're not in a lot in the in recent backed it when i asked these questions that they don't have to give us if it from a shoe that's why the bill to audit but that is the first step to ending the federal reserve the desirable and it's now because they will destroy the dollars instead they came into existence since nineteen thirty may be eliminated ninety eight percent of the value of the nineteen thirteen dollars discontinuing rocha they pumped up but first when the crisis hit one point two trillion dollars another six hundred billion dollars and believe me there is an economic law they say she just can't continue to do this so congress has responsibility they should cut back the congress has a responsibility protect checks on the federal reserve system there's not there's been a lot of block off the bat plot bipartisanship appalachian we need bipartisanship and i know it someplace that might be true but i'll tell you what i think about it high-paying and i believe that we've had way too much bipartisanship robots sixty-year we have bipartisanship bipartisanship on medical care you say yall you know that the current administration is give us bad new medical care but what is done on the other administration we've been involved for a long time it's is the bipartisanship of the welfare system the warfare system monetary system the challenge to our civil liberties it almost three with support from both parties so there's way too much bipartisanship this should be a challenge to the issue of philosophy good philosophy verse is bad for us to think and when you can agree on something you should make coalitions with whoever will agree with you income and and come together but i'd like to see some bar bipartisanship what i would like to see e take those pins big government conservatives who want to spend money and never cut their interest in their spending you get the big government liberals where they want to spend it never wanna catch and let them get together and say you know it's time you know this deficit is good yes have a little bit about bipartisanship and cut boats has been uh... there's been talk lately about american exception with them and we'd like to talk about that i think uh... we did we certainly have an exceptional country we have been blessed is the greatest country most freedom most prosperity my concern is on the freight we're losing it i'm afraid we've given up on our devotion to liberty that's where our problem but uh... you know where i think we can always fail in this exception with them there's some people and sometimes they refer to this deal conservatives in their sorted neo jacob pins where where they believe that we have this moral responsibility to use force to go around the world and say you will do what i what routes well force doesn't work it never works the best way to get people act more like us if we're doing a good job is for us to have a sound economy sa dollar treat people decently have a foreign policy that makes common sense treat people like we want to be treated it then maybe they would want to annual a dozen state freedom doesn't work then we ought to try it forces on the you know there's one general rose about what we should expect from government there is uh... the first amendment is a great amendment freedom of expression is protected the government's job right no laws in reference to our freedom of expression it doesn't say that we were to have an expression of only the non-controversial ideas it's freedom of expression most people are replied on the first amendment that where they slip up is they say the government should states should d right no laws the freedom of activity so they want to tell you that the liberals want to talk about how to regulate your economic activity hinds thing your money others wanna regulate your personal lifestyle but it governs should not be regulating ice and we should adapt one of the principal for that to work we should also a rob the use of violence against our neighbors our friends are to other countries the progress the purpose of all political activity from my viewpoint used to promote liberty literary is the most important element liberty comes from car our our our creator it doesn't come from our government if we have a if we have a free society we didn't know about business and to our very best work toward purchase things that make and work toward excellence when government takes over the role of making us virtuous in making us excellent and redistribute the wealth they only do it at the expense of liberty and that's why we're in such trapped in terrible shape today is 'cause we've allowed the government to be so much involved government should never be able to do anything that you can do you can see over the neighbor you can see and the government to turn a british deal for you there should be no we just national black exciting and the exciting things that are happening today and gets me energized is coming to the best like this is meeting with the young people are going to be campuses and finding a lot when young americans for liberty have done and while they made the ideas and the principles of liberty are alive and well in the next generation and has every reason in the world for us to be optimistic about what's coming i would like to make one one suggestion before i close that uh... just to think about the cause that it's not a perfect solution but especially young people well if i could if i had to get the where you do what i can offer you a signal we're not doing such a good job in government these days we make promises and we don't know about the future but would you consider off being out alcohol system under one condition you pay ten percent of your income that you take care of yourself down and he got a mentor anything the tragedy krajina you're probably not have the opportunity because government is in the process of failing and they can deliver on it but it's just as the soviets could deliver it because it maintain their power we will have those prostate problems domestically weekly series economic problems is is dollar crisis people but let me try lives with uh... comments from god icmp adams he says uh... don't worry about it it would not be majority all we need is a minority keen on spreading them rate at the uh... brushfires of liberty in the minds of men that is what we need to and believe me brush fires are burning they will not be able to squelch the uh... brushfire their blue they're burning and they're spreading and people are getting excited because they are starting to separate about what true liberty is all about wet market every person delivery isn't what it means in foreign policy what it means that our traditions the american tradition what it means because the constitution converting and confers with what i'm saying your ears that with the word in the constitution the havoc that reserve system now at the ready for the welfare state in no hurry for the police state is not there we shared we should all assume personal responsibility for promoting the ideals of liberty and one thing that uh... samuel johnson always advise when they were indeed are consequences of the uh... problems of the revolution he said we cannot present long faces to the go to the people to call us at that time because it will make them realize hot tub things are so we should not have long faces we do not know exactly what tomorrow will bring but i do know that the effort is worthwhile and i do know that you can have a lot of fun defending liberty and believe me if you understand liberty in realizes the yellow in humanitarian system in existed everyone may come i tell you what if you want to bother stallion promote free market economics in fine for this i can guarantee an you will sleep better at night you will enjoy your life and you will feel like they're doing something worthwhile liberty oh
