Rolling Stones gig

Fifty years after they first took to the stage,
the Rolling Stones managed to roll back the years in style.
They rocked the O2,
on their reunion tour.
A capacity crowd of 20,000 crammed the arena,
as the ageing icons struttered and swaggered their way
for hit after familiar hit.
Former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor
were also back,
performing alongside the regular quartet,
for the first time in 20 years.
Tickets had sold out in minutes,
with many seats going for hundreds of pounds,
and second-hand tickets on sale,
for much much more.
But even at fifty,
the Stones seem to guarantee satisfaction.
(It's the) second time I've seen them,
and they were brilliant,
it was a spectacle, from the drummers at the start,
to the last one...brilliant, fantastic.
Fifty years...outrageous,
it was all the best you can think of,
and to finish with...the best songs,
all the greatest hits, you know,
"Brown Sugar"...
Absolutely unbelievable,
amazing, fantastic, jolly good.
Last night's gig was the first of two in London,
before the band crosses the Atlantic
to play three dates in the US.
But for those disappointed fans who missed out this time,
there may be more to come,
for the band's hinting that this reunion will not be the last.
