Once you've uploaded your report to powerbi.com,
you may want to get regular emails whenever the data changes.
You can do that with the Power BI email subscription feature. Let me show you how.
To start subscribing to a report page, navigate to the report that you want to subscribe to.
You can subscribe to any report as long as you have view or edit access.
Click the subscribe button at the top.
This will begin the subscription set-up process.
First select the report page that you want to subscribe to.
Here we'll select the sales overview report page.
The email is generated whenever the model is refreshed.
You can use the frequency drop-down to limit how many emails you get.
For example, in this case the model is refreshed once every day,
but I can limit the emails to once a week.
You can also use the manage all subscription link down below to see all the email subscriptions that you've set up.
Now I will click save and close, and the subscription has been created.
Now the next time the data is refreshed, I will get an email in my inbox.
The email will look something like this.
It will show the data on the report page and also provide a link
by which I can go to the report in powerbi.com.
With Power BI email subscriptions, it's never been so easy to get to the data that matters to you.
