Welcome to Class!

Hello everyone! I'm Nancy Barclay and I'm the instructor for this course. I just wanted to say welcome to class. I'm really excited to be teaching this class for LA Valley College. It's the first time it's ever been offered. And we are going to share ideas, have discussions related to effective teaching in an online or hybrid environment, and we'll be talking about how to address your students' different learning styles so that they have the best learning experience possible. I know most of you have taken trainings on how to use the platform for your online classes but I don't think a lot of people have had a lot of experience about learning how to teach effectively online. So hopefully by the end of this semester you will have some great ideas that you are going to put into your own classes so that you are going to be an outstanding teacher and your students are going to love your classes. So welcome again and I look forward to seeing you through the next few weeks as we discuss online learning. Thank you!
