Amplifi Capital- Give your employees a blank check

Hello again. Kevin Griffith, CEO of AmpliFi Capital. Budget season. Again, everybody's favorite time of year. It's interesting how it coincides with Christmas, which is everybody's favorite time of year, if you think about it—cookies, egg nog.

So one thing that we would encourage you to think about as you do your budget is to give every one of your executive team a blank check. Ask them if they had unlimited resources, what would they do? And you're going to get a couple of interesting responses.

You're going to get a lot of people pushing back, saying, well, how much money do I have? You might have a problem there. Not because they're necessarily bad at their job, but they're not thinking outside the box. They're not thinking about how they create value.

What they really need is someone to go to, where they can bounce ideas off of and say, what is my CEO— what's my boss telling me? That I have a blank check? Well, what do I do with that? I don't even know. I mean, where do I begin?

Ah, now that is where AmpliFi can come in. Because we can sit with your executive member and say, OK, well, these are the two major goals that we've identified that we're going to do. Here are your KPIs. Let's improve these.

Like, what can you do? What are your gaps? What are your weaknesses? Where do you see opportunities? Help them think through that.

That's kind of hard. That's a lot of work. It's a different kind of skill set, especially if people haven't been in that position before and you want to develop that position. That's something AmpliFi is real good at.
