Hello, I'm Jeff Neuman,
Neustar's Vice President of Business Affairs
for it's Enterprise Service offerings.
Neustar is honored to have been selected as one of the three global providers of Emergency Back-End Registry Services, also called EBEROs, for ICANN's New gTLD Program.
The EBERO is designed to be activated should a registry operator require assistance to sustain critical registry functions for a limited period of time or in the case of a transition from one registry operator to another.
As a trusted neutral provider of real-time information and analysis, Neustar is excited to serve in EBERO capacity with such prestigious and well respected firms, including CNNIC and Nominet. We stand ready and able to provide Emergency Back-End Services by the third quarter of this year, in the unlikely event that such emergency services are required after the delegation of New gTLDs by ICANN.
We believe this program will enhance user confidence, regarding the security, stability and resiliency of the Domain Name System, after the addition of New gTLDs.
We thank ICANN again for giving us this opportunity to serve the Internet community.
