We've already shown you how you can create charts and reports by dragging and dropping fields from the fields list. But we know that not everyone has the time or the inclination to do this. So in Power BI, we have a way for you to create charts just by asking questions, the same kind of questions that you would use every day searching the Internet. To do this, you just have to click in this box on the top that suggests that you ask a question. Once you click in the box, you will see a couple of suggestions based off the data you already have in your dashboard. For example, we could just select sales and see the number of units we've sold so far this year. You can also go further and click sales by products, and we automatically create a chart for you showing the count of sales for each product. You can also type your own question using natural language, such as, what was our revenue last year? And this shows us what our revenue was the previous year. After that I can then, if I want to add this to the dashboard, select this pin icon. And just like when I pin a chart from the report, I see a preview of what it's going to look like. And I can pick what dashboard I want it to pin to. You can even ask more complex questions such as, which product had the largest sales? And this will create a chart for us that shows all the products by sales. You can also do things like add filters to your questions such as, which Vanarsdel product has the highest revenue? This did a couple of things. One, it fixed my typo when I hit highest, and it also filtered the products to only show products by Vanarsdel. I can pin this to my dashboard as well. Also just like editing charts in a report, you can do things like dragging and dropping fields from the fields list. So in this case, let's also color this by units. So I'll drop units in the color saturation. This shows us that both the top product in revenue also was one of the top products in terms of sales of units. But also UC-69 had a large number of sales. Let's pin this to the dashboard as well. Let's now go back to the dashboard and see those charts we pinned. Just like any of the other tiles, we can resize and drag them around. And whenever I click on the tile, It will take me back to Q&A, which is what the source was. Now you've seen how Q&A is a very easy way to create charts just by asking everyday natural language questions.
