Hey Everybody, Dr. Seth Labott with the Cafe of Life Chiropractic Center
right here in Mill Valley CA
Wanted to give you guys a helpful tool to increase your
upper and mid back thoracic mobility
For all you golfers all you tennis players that are looking
to get better rotation through your mid thorax
wanted to give a you a helpful tool, so here we go.
Most of you guys know the foam roller. This is your traditional mobility
for the foam roller that everyone knows. Getting into the foam roller
rolling into it and creating thoracic mobility in through here
But we are going to give you guys one that most of you
probably have not seen before
so we are going to start off with the foam roller like this
We are going to place it down right here
and we are going to lay on our side
so i am going to lay on my left side
I am going to put my right knee right over the foam roller like this
and i'm going to put my left hand right here.
I'm want to bring my right arm like this. I'm going to bend my left knee
I'm going to bring my arm up over and around like this.
This is called a Windmill and it is really increasing
my thoracic mobility, especially on the right side.
So you can see this would be really good to open up that thoracic area
great for golfers and tennis players. anyone who has to get
a good swing in there.
and then obviously go ahead and switch to the other side
so there you have it. Hopefully this had been helpful. I look forward
to connecting with you next time
