Hello YC, My name is Pavan Kumar I am literally a rocket scientist. I am very passionate about backpacking and travel. In the past 3 years alone, I've travelled for more than 6 months in total. During the planning of one such backpacking trips, I've noticed that though there is lot of information from various sources on, 'what to do in a particular place/city' but, let's say, If I want to search, 'Where should I go? Thailand or Peru? Which will suit my interests more?' It is very difficult to get this kind of information. So to solve this particular problem, we've launched www.18000miles.com It is a platform where backpackers can read about travel blogs, information about various places and destinations, or just if they wanted to know what other backpackers are upto in any of the particular geographical region. We've launched 3 weeks ago, and till now we have 30+ travel blogs, and 100+ backpacking destinations. Even though, I am the only founder now, and, I have talked to a couple of tech guys who are very good in their domain, I am still actively looking for a technical co-founder, who is just as crazy about backpacking, as I am.
