Hi! I'm Nigel Barker. You don't have to be a professional photographer... ... to take great pictures of your little ones. You just need to know some simple tricks of the trait. And I've got a few tips that will help you capture this special moments that happen in a blink of an eye. Lets start with the digital pointing-shot camera. This is Collien and this beautiful little girl is Emma. Hey there! Hey guys! - You're ready? We're ready! Ok. The first thing you need to do is: Keep the background clutter free! You don't want anything to pull the attention away from little Emma. There you go. Much cleaner. That looks perfect! The next tip: When taking fotos of babies it's best to work with existing light! It's hard enough to get him to sit still. So, start by making minor readjustments to your camera settings. Or if you have a camera like this: which comes to the low-light feature... ... will automatically adjust the settings to insure a great shot. That's a great tip! Now here is a real simple one: Take close ups! And you don't have to be... ... REALLY close up... ... with a camera like this. You can do this from a distance. That way you capture more emotion... ... without distracting the baby. The newer cameras have very good optical zoom lenses. Like this one here. That way you can capture their expression in GREAT detail. So I don't have to be right on top of her to get a shot?! - Exactly. Now this tip is probably the most important!: Get down to your childs` level! Literally get down on your knees or lie on the floor. Make sure to get the babies perspective rather than just your own! Pretty easy! - There you go. So why do you take a few shots of Emma?! Remember: Have some fun! Thanks Nigel! Either I can shot just like a Pro now. Ach... never forget: You need to know how to crawl before you can walk! I'm Nigel Barker! For great online toels and more tips go to sony.com/hodini!
