I graduated in 2009. I graduated in 1989. 2005. 1949... 2012... '85... '78. 2034. Mac '68. 2014. '78A I graduated in 1943. I just convicated last week. I come back every year with my husband. He's a hockey alumni. I don't think any of us have ever done it so we thought we'd experience it. I don't recognize some of the buildings. There's the opportunity to go through different buildings and see the changes that have happened on campus and connect with other people that have been back. It's kind of what drew us back. I wanted to see how everyone, forty years later, how their lives have turned out. I made great friends here. We've got a great group of friends. A lot of them are people that we met here and it's something to be proud of and it's a great school. You know when you meet a fellow Gryphon just because of who they are and and the work that they're doing. When you go back into a place like the Bullring, it's fabulous. The University of Guelph really felt like home. It gave me a chance to figure to figure out my own path. There were a lot of traditions here at Guelph that I fell in love with when I was a student. Going to the Bullring. (Laughter) Definitely homecoming. I loved homecoming and the community that built around that event. Teaching the new students how to wind your toy. Painting the cannon was fun. 3 words to describe the UofG would be: Three words... Three words... Food is definitely the first one that comes to mind. Innovative. Inclusive. Friendship. Family. Tradition. Engaging. Memorable. Great place to be, great people, good times. Three words? Absolutely the best! That's three, right? There's too many words here. Being a UofG grad carries a lot of pride. Proud to be a Gryphon. I'm very proud to be able to say that. If you were an Aggie, you're always an Aggie. It carries a lot of great memories in terms of a really pivotal time in my life. I wouldn't change a thing. We're the class of '68! (cheers)
