If they come through this way they take this road which goes to the temple If they come through this way, they pray at the Ganesh Temple. Then they continue this way to visit the Virupaksha temple So now we are going through the entrance that leads to the Ganesh Temple This Ganesh temple is the [] Ganesh Name of Lord Ganesh is Peanut Ganesh We are going to see Ganesh This was once a huge stone...the temple and Ganesh is carved out of this single piece of stone Its 18 feet high. yeah 18 feet high And it's carved out of a single stone..a monolith Once the Muslims chopped the trunks and the belly as well Yes, the belly and the trunk and they cut it after Its ok no problem So they pray to Lord Ganesh who is considered a lucky god in Hindu Culture They then go through like this to the main temple- Virupaksha temple This is the way and there are markets too on the way You see the columns there? In the olden times the markets used to sell gold, diamonds, rubies on this path In front of us, that is the Rishimukh hill the hill looks similar to a rishi, holy man So now we are going to another Ganesh temple and the Hemakutta hill
