"SAIHATE Village" is an ecovillage exploring alternatives to the current societal paradigm. This video summarizes the village's development and events that have taken place in the 3 months following its official inauguration (11/11/2011). It illustrates the first steps of the village's Permaculture conversion, alternative farming, woodwork, the construction of a rocket mass heater (rocket stove), handmade ceramic tiles, as well as the organization of musical events and gatherings. Thanks to animated visual effects, the video also features projects that are currently being designed and expected to be built this year (2012), such as a Café and its neighboring Tree House, as well as "earthbag shelters" and "ecodomes".
