♫ ♫ Hi, welcome to 77 Park Avenue, a great pre-war condo right in the heart of Murray Hill, just three blocks away from Grand Central. You're right at the subway. You're also very close to many restaurants and bars and entertainment We're here on the 2nd floor, which means you don't have to wait very long for the elevator to go down. Let's show you the apartment. Come on in. We're in the "E" line. "E" like Edward. And that's the largest line in The Griffin There are two sides -- an East tower and a West tower. We're in the East tower. This is a true 3-bedroom apartment. A lot of the owners here call this the Gallery, because they can hang up their artwork What we really like about the living room is, Number 1 it's large size And Number 2, it has a working wood-burning fireplace -- a feature you don't see very often in Manhattan It's a great holiday apartment. You can make s'mores in the fireplace or roast chestnuts and play the piano We love our kitchen. This Sub-Zero refrigerator holds a heckuva lot, and it has a freezer on the bottom for energy conservation. .The Wolf stove is great. Nice fixtures. Great place to make a meal. Unlike a lot of the New York galley kitchens, this one is not claustrophobic at all. It opens right up into the dining room. It was the pre-war detail of this apartment that really struck me. I mean, these are beautiful columns. We also have original moldings around the chandeliers and 10-foot ceilings The whole condo was renovated recently with very high quality materials Welcome to the master bedroom. This is one of those rooms where size really does matter! We have a king-size bed in here, and two dressers and a couple of bed-side tables. Plenty of room. And it has an attached bathroom that has a Waterworks steam shower. Very nice master bath. When we relocated from the suburbs into the city, we were concerned there wouldn't be enough space for the kids. This condo has plenty of space. Each daughter has her own bedroom. They have room for sleepovers with their friends. Each of the bedrooms has a separate bathroom. Hi, this is Lucy. She loves living here. It's a very pet-friendly building. Living in a full-service building has advantages when it comes to recycling and throwing the trash out. We have a service entrance that empties right out of the kitchen into a back hallway near the service elevator. This roof deck has some of the best views of Manhattan real estate and the skyline. You've got the Chrysler Building on one side and the Empire State Building on the other. It's just wonderful coming up here at night. I don't think you can really downplay the sexiness of the location, either. You've got D'Agostino's and the Gourmet Market inside Grand Central for food. And for shopping for apparel, Lord & Taylor's When people ask us if we're going to the park today I say, Yeah. They think it's Central Park but it's actually the secret jewel of our neighborhood, Bryant Park. Which means watching movies outside during the summertime, or ice skating for free out here on The Pond in the wintertime. The local elementary school, PS 116, is rated one of the best in New York City. It's a short walk from here. Our two kids got a great education there. Another plus about this neighborhood is that it's right next to the United Nations. So if you work at the UN, you can easily walk to work. You can get anywhere in the city within 5 or 10 minutes from this location.

I am selling my condo in New York City. It would be a wonderful home for a diplomat because of it's location near the United Nations and many missions/consulates. I can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone +1.917.863.1008.
