C8L8: Razor Sharp Slice Backhand

Looking at the slice backhand you realize it is a very very short stroke. In order to negotiate the time and space appropriately you have to
move out there incrementally, so its not a quick move the slice backhand. You want to make sure your arm stays bowed as you get
out to the 45 degree angle its not straight at that point. You don't want to rush out to the hit on this slice backhand as well as all the other
shots in the game but even more so. You really want to focus on staying behind that 45 degree angle as long as possible. You want
to get out there very very slowly because you are trying to hold the coil while your hips come out while you are reaching out to the 45 degree
angle you don't want to be getting out there early. There is no reason to prepare or to move quickly because you want to negotiate this time
and space you want to get out there incrementally so you get out to the contact point right as the ball is crossing your 45 degree path there.
Its very important to practice this slice to slice we are showing you here in the short court but you should also do this from the baseline.
Its great to practice this slice and practice moving slowly. Don't try to chop the ball just move your hips and let the racket slowly stretch out
to the 45.
