Hi, my name is Alison. With a few simple ingredients, I'm going to show you how to make these delicious princess brownie wands for your princess-themed baby shower. Here's what you'll need. Start with a tray of fresh baked brownies. Bake them on parchment paper so you can remove them from the pan completely. Moist fudgy brownies work best. With a greased knife, cut off the crusts on all four sides. Cut the brownies into 1½-inch squares. Allow them to cool so that they're easy to handle. After they've cooled, mold each brownie into a small ball. Grease your hands lightly with vegetable oil to keep the brownies from sticking to your hands. If your brownies are moist and fudgy, they will cling together easily. If your brownies have a crunchy top, you might find it hard to make a ball. Try to roll the top of the brownie into the center of your ball so the outside will be smooth. Insert the cake pop sticks into each ball until they're almost to the bottom of the ball. They will need to be secure to be coated with chocolate. Next, pour the dark chocolate chips into a microwave-safe mug about halfway full. Melt the chocolate in the mug for fifteen-second intervals and stir with a spoon or a small spatula until smooth. Beware of overcooking the chocolate because the flavor and texture can change very quickly. Dip the brownie pops into the melted dark chocolate until it's completely covered. The mug should be deep enough for the pop to get a full coating of chocolate. The mug also holds the heat longer, so the melted candy will conveniently stay warm for a while. To display these princess pops, stay tuned until the end for a tutu cake stand tutorial. Let the princess pops cool completely. You'll know they are ready for the next step when they no longer have a shiny coating. They'll look like they've firmed up a bit. Put the white chocolate in a microwave-safe mug and melt using the same technique. This time, dip the pops 80% of the way into the white chocolate. Allow the white chocolate to cool slightly. Now comes the part where you can get really creative. Roll the brownie pops in sparkles, colored sugars, or any other candies you crave. We're using a lovely pink sparkling sugar, tiny white nonpareils, and silver edible glitter in the shape of stars. Roll them gently in each cup. I like to dip them only halfway so you can still see the white chocolate. If you'd like to create them as party favors, wrap each one individually in small cellophane bags and tie with a pretty bow. For a finishing touch, display them on the tutu cake stand. These gorgeous decadent pops will make all your baby shower guests feel like royalty.
