Once you are working with intermediate players and tournament players this transition off any shot drill is really fantastic drill. Not
enough players practice like this. This drill is where the feeder which is Steven on the other side in the yellow shirt, he feeds the ball anywhere
he wants sometimes the tougher the better. See short, deep, wide and Warren no matter what tries to come in off that. Its a very difficult
drill for the guy receiving the ball. He has got to make a play out of the very first ball no matter where it is in the court. What it does is
it teaches you to cut off the angles, keep your eyes forward while you are moving feel your lower body underneath you turn to the 45. See
he keeps his eyes forward and its great for the other player to work on his passing shots. This is a real advanced drill and you definitely
want to work on this if you have tournament players or players that want to be tournament players to work on their transition game.
See even if its a deep ball you still come in and do what you can, ah just missed. So work on this drill with some of your best players.
The first time I saw this drill Federer's coach was doing it to Roger and it was incredible to see how Roger can make an approach shot at
of any ball hit to him. So work on this drill with your players and you will see great results in all court play.
