Good day
My name is Laura Guauque
And today we will talk about IDIOMS
We will only give some examples
of IDIOMS that made use of everyday objects
The first IDIOM we found is
'Don't judge a book by ITS cover'
and means 'do not judge something or someone only by the outward appereance'
in Spanish it would mean 'no juzgar un libro por su pasta’
Another IDIOM we found is
'Hit the books' and this means
'Study with a Concentrated effort'
That's 'studying hard'.
Another IDIOM we found is
'On the same page' and means
'Thinking alike or understanding
Something in the same way as others'
This is' thinking in a similar way
as others.
Another IDIOM is 'wipe the slate clean'
And that means' to get a new start or
a second chance '
when we have a second chance or a new beginning
this is the IDIOM we want to use.
Well, that's all for today
I hope you liked it ... see you next time...
THANKS!
