C8L11: Stab Volley

As we get through the rest of this month I think you are getting the picture. I am very serious about the idea of moving slowly and
thinking in terms of moving slowly to the ball. Especially believe it or not on stab volleys this is where people really over react. When
someone blasts a ball by them they immediately flinch with their racket back or lay their racket face open and start diving. Instead of
immediately lining up the 45 and just stretching trying desperately to hold your coil there. As I always say if you reach to the 45 and keep
your racket head there good things will often and almost always happen. So on these stabbing volleys you can see here in slow motion
you have got to economize the time and space that is going on. You don't want to do anything that is too pulling off the mark, see this.
See how he just stretches out for that volley in his mind he is doing it very slowly. He only had one place to go and plenty of time to get
there. Thats the thing once again you really under react on these wide stabbing volleys that people think are such incredible gets and they
are but its really that focus of being right at the 45 degree angle. Right there see there at the right time and holding that coil. So once again
move slowly as you make these great gets.
