Okay, so my last one is a wetland buffer
along the Red Cedar and that it's protected in perpetuity.
So it's protected through either codes and ordinances,
or title restrictions, or some way.
So...
Man: Or land conservancy...
Woman: Land conservancy, yup, it can be any number of ways.
So where do we have the Red Cedar these days?
So that would be the buffer along — and you can still have trails through there.
But you would definitely need to have it on both sides
and have it be protected.
So now that I can get where I want to be
— we talked a little bit about these mixed-use areas
but I'd really love to see some really nice restaurants and cultural activities.
Man: Nice fronting design right here, we need some business.
{indistinct chatter}
Bill: Great drawing, you guys.
Bill: Really, pretty awesome.
{indistinct chatter}
Woman: So a nice coffee shop.
Yup.
Bill: Coffee shop? Good
Bill: By the way, if there's any, you know, if there's competing ideas
you do what designers do:
you get it on another piece of paper.
{laughter from people at table}
But if you ever do, and someone says I really hate that idea
let me show you how to do it — fine, here's a piece of paper for you rather than...
Woman: Like whole other overlay?
Bill: Yeah, rather than drawing over.
