Supporters of keeping Scotland
in the United Kingdom
have moved back into a narrow
lead over the separatists.
The YouGov survey puts the No
campaign ahead at 52%
with less than a week before Scots
vote on independence.
Former British Prime Minister,
Gordon Brown, is Scottish.
"There is a better, safer, fairer, ...
faster way of meeting the aspirations
of the Scottish people.
And that is by adopting the proposals
that we have put forward.
For a stronger Scottish Parliament,
within the United Kingdom."
Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond said
an independent Scotland would look
to join the European Union.
"We will succeed, not because we have ...
... a wealth of natural resources,
important though they are.
We will succeed as we maintain and build
on the energy, the participation
and the involvement of the people."
The Pro-independence camp says Scotland
would be one of the world's richest countries
if it took control of its own destiny.
