it's felt like a victory rally for catalan pro independence parties it's succeeded in terms of election into a vote on whether this reach should break away from spain and there's the result came in they claim to set a part to vote independence the party independence movement heard in catalan here applainting this a complete victory but isn't in the way they wanted it looks like a majority of seets in catalan partlement but not majority votes the leavement have to team up with a small anticapitalist party to have a majority of seeds but catalonia's president painted in unbecaulous result as a clear success we have won the plebiscits, this is the important thing we have a clear absolutely majority in the catalan parlment to go ahead the spanish government would say he and his movement failt but in abscense of a real referendum here is a bullshit believe they can push ahead if we don't get a majority in vote we should do a question again to population of catalonia -but spanish government don't let you have a referendum -yes, that's a problem what happens after tonight? a new government and the beginning of the process of independence, i think even if you don't have the fifty per cent of the votes? -Yes, because i think it's not fair to count in votes if... if its not the real referendum the ultimate threat is to declare independence without the consense of the spanish state it's the tactics of the pro independence movement to try impress madrid into allowing a proper referendum Tom Burieg BBC News in Barcelona.
