to talk about sustainability.
What does sustainability mean to Gi Picco's?
Sustainability is very important to us.
and this can be seen
in our selection of the best natural raw materials
and the development of three lines
where sustainability is a primary characteristic:
the Vegan, Organic and Natural lines.
And inside the company we have implemented special solutions
to save on energy and water
and minimise every possible impact on the environment.
What role does research and development play in this?
Our research team
works to develop products
that are exceptionally light but long-lasting.
We also comply with the most rigorous
international quality standards
and apply very severe
internal quality checks.
In 2017 you celebrated
your 50th anniversary
and decided to "give yourselves a new look".
Tell us what you've been doing.
For Gi Picco's 50th anniversary
we decided to restyle our corporate image:
a new website, a new portfolio, a new form of communication.
We turned to the professional expertise
of the Amapola agency,
who gave our identity
a new and original interpretation.
The idea of beauty has been associated with the idea of good,
make-up with food,
to underline still further the healthy natural
ingredients we put into our products.
And a new video too?
Yes, video is a vital tool
in corporate communication.
We also asked Amapola to produce
a video illustrating our new image.
The video is called "Emotions" and has been seen by visitors
to our stand at the leading tradeshows
we've attended this year.
Once again, quality, creativity
and Made in Italy were the key elements
we wanted to communicate.
