To conceal means to reveal:
Rav Ashlag's work on the Zohar
By Rav Berg
That's why the Zohar, originally, was one paragraph
along came Rabbi Ashlag
and made paragraphs
oh, now it's accessible to everybody!
If you open up the original Zohar,
there's one paragraph.
Its doesn't tell you, it doesn't give you a table of contents,
it doesn't tell you what subject matter is being discussed
along came Rabbi Ashlag,
he has topical captions on each page
you know what is the subject matter that's being discussed
oh, isn't that wonderful?
We say that all the time - he opened up the doors, right?
But also remember another thing,
he had to put this limitation.
Because with every revelation there must be a restriction, a concealmnet
is that right?
So, while he made it accessible
we can access, and retrieve information now from the Zohar
that nobody, except for the selected few Mekubalim (kabbalists)
could have access to that information - the Zohar.
Now can!
But remember -
that those selected few had access to the totality
even Aramaic,
not only Hebrew, but even Aramaic
and now today, that everyone has access
but understand - it's been brought down, it's been concealed
because the more concealment,
the more concealment - more revealment.
