The normal force and the weight are ecual, so there aren't motion, the balls are in rest.
The white ball acts on the orange balls with a unbalanced force, so this produces motion in the orange balls.
The man apply a force over the box to produce a motion with acceleration.
Then the man apply the same force in the heavier box, so there is less acceleration.
The rocket goes up, because of the acting friction force: always goes opposite the motion. The reaction of the gases push the rocket up.
