I am going to start with the tricep marking.
First, the arm should be bent at a 90 degree angle.
The mark will be made at the midway point between the shoulder and the elbow.
I will make a cross to indicate this midway point.
Next, I am going to mark the subscapular.
The arm should be placed behind the back to show the inferior angle of the scapula.
The mark will be made along the natural curve of the scapula.
Last, I will mark the thigh.
The knee should be raised to flex the thigh.
This will be done at the midway point between the inguinal crease and the top of the patella.
Again, a cross will be made to indicate this midway point.
Now, I am going to pick up the skinfold of the tricep approximately 1 cm above the center of the mark.
I will keep the fold elevated throughout the measurement.
I will place the calipers directly along the horizontal line of the mark.
I will now pick up the skinfold of the scapula.
The calipers should be placed at a 45 degree angle, which follows the natural curve of the scapula,
and along the center of the mark.
Lastly, I will pick up the skinfold of the thigh approximately 1 cm above the center of the mark.
The calipers will be placed along the horizontal line of the mark.
These site will be measured again in a rotational pattern.
If two measurements are different by 10 percent of each other, another measurement will be taken.
Also, all measurements will be taken after a count of 4 then recorded.
Thank you for watching!
