Solids can be converted to liquids by merely heating them,
Thus, heat helps us to change the state of matter.
Today we will see the effect of heat on a solid.
There we have a bar of chocolate,
we have also prepared a hot water bath.
Put the beaker with the chocolate in the hot water bath.
Let it melt completely.
After sometimes, the chocolate gains heat and melts.
It starts loosing its shape
this tells us that solids have definite shape
while liquids do not have a definite shape.
Now, remove the beaker.
Pour the melted chocolate in bowl.
Keep this bowl in the freezer.
