On February 5, 2018, FAMM hosted a panel in Nashville to highlight Tennessee’s drug-free school zone law, which costs the state millions to lock up low-level drug offenders. Tennessee State Representative Tilman Goins spoke about the reform legislation he is sponsoring, and the panel featured Julia Warren from Right on Crime; Lauren Krisai from Justice Action Network, and two families whose loved ones have been sentenced under this law—Joi Davis, wife of Terrance Davis, and Buel Moore, father of Sara Moore. Kevin Ring, President of FAMM, moderated.
