The Point for Public Access to Information, Bănia, jud. Caraş Severin, presents:
Josi's story
My name is Josi and I'm 9 years old.
I live in Bănia, Valea Almăjului, Caraş Severin district.
I'm in 6-th form.
I also perform Romanian traditional dances from Almăj Valley, in Ansamblul Cununiţa.
And this is PAPI, where the computers are and where we come often to play.
It's not just kids coming to PAPI...
... dad was also here, last year, for learning Portuguese.
Dad and other villagers left for work in Portugal.
They took Portuguese lessons on the Internet with Marcelo, a brazilian teacher from Timişoara
They learned how to fill in forms in Portuguese and other stuff so that bad people can't cheat on them.
Dad and the villagers have to work for 3 months.
And I miss him...
It's good that we can chat at PAPI's.
I'm so glad that PAPI exists and that someone invented the Internet
so that I can chat with my dad...
When I'll grow up I want to invent something too
so that parents don't have to go far away to work...
Film made during "Hai pe Net" week (program)
