Young Art is a drop-in art lesson studio.
And what we provide
is a safe space for children
to express themselves creatively.
But, also we're helping the parent
that needs a few minutes
to go and shop
and to get their errands done.
Also, gives mom and dad
a chance for a date night.
No matter how many
instructors there are,
they'll always be teaching
each individual their own picture.
So we do offer it to adults, as well.
Here, we don't like
to do all the stuff for them.
We really want them to try to be
independent and do it on their own.
They really do get
to learn the intricate details
with like brushstrokes and learning how
to use more than one different medium
to create that one masterpiece
that they want.
A lot of kids who come in and say,
"Oh. I'm no good at art or I can't draw."
For example, I had one
who specifically said,
"I do not like art."
He did his 30-minute lesson,
and by the end of the lesson,
he was just like, "I love this place.
I want to come back here."
That's what we're here for.
We're here to show you step by step
how to draw everything you want to.
I was just shopping like anybody else,
and I saw this new business.
I'd never seen it before.
And it just had art in the front.
And I was like,
"Oh. [CLAP] [CLAP] I'm going there."
Our staff is dedicated,
and they're driven.
And they care so passionately about
their students and about the experience,
that if anyone ever doesn't
have an A+ experience,
they will do everything they can
to try to redeem it,
to make it right and
to serve with the best of their ability.
Our management team
is very solid with one another.
We're always communicating.
We're always making sure that
everybody is taken care of.
You know, I feel like I want
to take care of this company.
I treat it like it's my own business
when I'm here.
All of the stores are activated to reach out
to schools, to the non-profits
and to become as involved as possible
in giving and volunteering.
We'll bring schools on site
to do field trips, Girl Scout trips.
When we ask ourselves,
"What's our attention?"
And, "What's our objectivity?"
It is to do good.
And it is, how can we give back?
And, how can we be the
most generous in any community?
We're able to give something to schools
through heavy donations.
And we're able to send
teachers onsite to schools
or bring schools to us and thereby
support the arts
which otherwise might be cut out,
you know, from the curriculum.
Art is for everyone,
and we want everybody to know that.
That's why we have multiple locations.
That's why we're rapidly expanding,
is because we want everybody
to bring out that inner artist,
because every single person
in this world is an artist,
whether or not they know it.
