silence shared in words
Welcome to the OSHO Talks Video Translation Project
Over the course of 35 years,
Osho, a contemporary mystic
has spoken on virtually every aspect of human consciousness.
In these talks, the human mind is put under the microscope as never before,
analyzed down to the smallest wrinkle.
Mind as psychology, mind as emotion,
mind as belief –
all examined, studied, and integrated.
Osho describes meditation as watchful awareness,
a way to go beyond the prison of the mind.
Together, OSHO International and dotSUB
introduce a new translation project;
the opportunity to translate OSHO Video Talks into multiple languages.
In an online environment
translators add their translations of Osho Talks,
sharing his insights in as many languages as volunteers provide.
This is how it works.
Select a video and a language you wish to translate.
You are then invited by email into the system
which is ready for your translation
a text box opens for each subtitle line
and you translate exactly this line
in the fixed time coding which is provided.
It's very simple and you don't need to be a professional translator –
to be bi-lingual is enough.
Each translated line is instantly added as new subtitle in the video.

My speaking is really
one of my devices for meditation.
My purpose is so unique,
I am using
words
just to create
silent gaps.
This is simply a device
to give you a glimpse of meditation.
And it is not only here,
far away,
anywhere in the world
where people will be
listening to the video
or to the audio,
they come to the same
silence.
