At the beginning of the film, the old couple begins to read a story about their lives together.
Starting in 1940 in South Carolina, a mill worker named Noah Calhoun
and a wealthy girl named Allie Hamilton are desperately in love.
But her parents do not approve.
When Noah goes out to serve in World War II, he seems to mark the end of their romance.
In the meantime, Allie gets involved with another man.
But when Noah returns to his small town years later, on the cusp of Allie's marriage
it soon becomes clear that their romance is anything but over.
I believe that the renowned, the plot and the romance in the Notebook
have an eternal effect in the audience, which makes this literally the best film in existence.
Even with the interesting concept of storytelling, the film generally staggers
a lot from the history of cliché love, casting issues, and a predictable storyline.
I think The Notebook has an amazing lead cast as well as a powerful supporting cast.
Rachel McAdams, the female protagonist, has won countless awards
and nominations for her role in The Notebook.
Ryan Gosling, the earth-shattering male protagonist, has won a Golden Globe
Many Teen Choice awards, MTV Awards and many more amazing prizes for movies like The Notebook.
The supporting cast of James Marsden, Gena Rowlands, and James Garner have shown
have been magnificent actors in this wonderful movie as they have won Satellite awards
for Best Supporting Actress/Actor of The Notebook.
In my opinion, The Notebook follows the most basic topics of romantic films.
A poor man falls in love with a wealthy woman whose parents don't approve of the relationship.
Countless other films and stories have followed
the same premise, including Titanic and Romeo and Juliet.
Being completely honest, I think the other movies/stories achieved the best cliché.
These actors and actresses play the role of characters
that contribute greatly to the execution of the movie plot.
The uniqueness of the plot, where an old man reads a story
of love and passion to a woman who suffers dementia, is unmatched.
There is simply no film that represents a love story
in this way, making the audience remember the notebook forever.
The casting creates major problems when watching the movie.
The film is set in the decade of 1940 in South Carolina
leaning towards the idea of actors who have Southern accents.
Ryan Gosling seems to be coming straight from Los Angeles,
ruining the affect of the setting.
In addition, the relationship between the main characters was non-existent.
It would have been better to choose complete strangers to feign the chemistry.
So, what point do you believe?
