So basically it's a spoken word theatre solo show
about a girl Cassie
it kind of watches her as she attempts to find home
and identity inside this country's poverty graveyard.
I wanted to create a show because I basically wanted to
break down some stereotypes around being a gay woman and
also being underclass and it comes from a story of hidden homelessness
and substance abuse.
And I wanted to break the stigma of being a homeless addict
and what it means to be homeless and addicted.
People should come see the show because it's a homeless queer story
by a homeless queer woman
it's really rare to see that story on a stage by someone that
has actually had that experience.
It's also just a massive party
it's a big rave
and I feel like you can learn a lot from it.
