When you're back in KC, aside from
visiting family,
what's the spot you have to hit while you're here?
Well, I always go to Jasper's. I love that restaurant.
And I always have to get a Z-Man at
some point from Joe's.
I actually to to a few different barbecue joints.
But Jasper's for sure.
And I always try and catch
a game. Royals. Chiefs.
Whatever's going on.
Alright. Since we're an asset
management firm,
I'll throw a couple of
finance questions at you.
But simple ones. What was
the 10-year-old version
of Paul Rudd spending money on?
Ooooh. Football cards and
baseball cards.
Do you still have them?
Yeah, I have a bunch of them actually.
Is that your retirement plan?
No. No, they're not worth
nearly as much I kind of hoped
or thought. But I collected them
because I loved him, and I just
always held onto them.
Not all of them, but I used to really
get into collecting cards.
First job?
For my very first job, I used to
sack groceries at Dahl's Supermarket
over on... What was that on?
Quivira or something like that?
Last question: What was
the lesson you learned
about money as a kid that you
took with you into adulthood?
Spend frivolously. Yeah!
Don't worry about saving for
a rainy day. Get rid of it.
It gets in my pocket?
I've got to get it out.
