What Rips Society Apart
If you ask, what is ripping
our society apart?
Let's start there
instead of saying
what are some opinionated
people chirping about?
People chirp about a lot of stuff.
What is ripping our world apart?
The big two or three would be
the differential between the rich and poor.
The rich are getting richer.
The poor are getting poorer.
That actual scenario
is the breeding ground
for indescribable turmoil
that is going to come soon.
Have you seen
the champagne glass on this?
This is the distribution
of wealth in the world.
There is 20% of people that have
80% of the wealth of the world.
Every time you go down
to the next 20%
until you get all of them.
Down here there is 2%
of the wealth of the world.
I think this is 12%, then 6%.
I do not know if these
are adding up now.
I am doing this off
the top of my head.
What is happening is
the actual bottom 20-40% of the world
lives on a fraction of
the wealth of the world.
They look up here and see
these 20% have 80%
of the wealth of the world.
They are drowning in this champagne.
We are thirsty to death.
This is not fair.
If you look at a lot of the turmoil in some
of the conflict areas around the world,
it is this.
This radical
terrible distribution of wealth.
If you take that,
now add racism
or any kind of ethnic cleansing thing
then add violence or war.
If you wanted to transform our world
not just from a religious perspective
if you wanted to deescalate most of the conflict
that is going on in our world
solve this problem, this problem
and this problem.
We have an entirely different world.
No one chirps about this stuff.
They would rather talk about
homosexuals, abortion, etc...
Those are very important issues.
Our world is not up for grabs
over those issues.
Our world is up for grabs
over these issues.
If you want to take on the giants,
take on these giants.
And speak boldly against war,
and speak boldly against racism,
and speak boldly against
an unequal wealth distribution.
You will have the ears
of the whole world.
We would rather have
chirping discussions.
Those drive me nuts.
