Hola!
These are the mountain people and they are very reserved; they don't think XXXX about privacy when they're dressed
so let's just turn our back and they'll just give us the opportunity to go in.
xxx a young man dressed.
Out of concession to the elders. Otherwise he`ll have to wait for them to leave.
That's not big deal, his clothes are drying and then he'll go home..
Come on, they're leaving.
Come on, you take your clothes off once you get into the water.
No, I don't wanna take my clothes off in the water.
Is he in the trance?
Could be.
Sulfur water does that to you.
Turn around!
And stay around.
Oh...this is wonderful!
I left my watch on.
So beautiful!
As I observed David, I wondered something really bizarre.
Was he actually there?
Was it possible that his soul was out of his body?
I remembered something Peter Seller had told me when we worked together.
Peter and I were doing "Being There'" and I knew this was the the sound stage
when Peter had his near fatal heart attack
Everybody was kidding around that day so it was not call the attention
to how Peter felt cause we knew he was frightened.
His was a famous heart attack...
because he was pronounced clinically dead for quite some time.
Then, as we talked...
Peter explained that he wasn't dead, that he was having an "out of body experience".
He said, he felt himself leave his body and hover over it.
He said he watched the doctors and the nurses trying to save his life below him.
He said that it was such a beautiful experience that he was never afraid of death after that.
And the doctors were confused and amazed when he told them what had happened...
but said that many of their patients have reported the same phenomena.
Ah....it was really hot there.
What do you mean?
Sometimes, when I meditate I leave my body.
Where do you go David?
I go anywhere I want...
exploring the God's Universe, you know...
I see my body below and I go higher and higher and....higher.
Fantastic feeling!
How are you so casual about this David? Wouldn't that scare a lot of people?
Oh, yeah...I was scared too at first, but not anymore.
I guess it's why I'm not afraid of death.
I do it all the time.
I don't know...
I don't know, David, David...
Don't get upset. Be patient!
Some day you may be able to do it too.
I see you're taking notes.
I always take notes when I travel, that's where I get my books.
It's good.
Remember the details xxxx they come at handy...
What do you mean?
xxx
You are so mysterious.
I'm not being mysterious. I'm just leading up to something.
"Es bonito el anillo de tu amiga Shirley." (the ring of your friend S. is nice)
Me gusta. (I like it). -Si? Bonito? (it's nice?)
Es raro, es un reloj, no? (it's curious/strange, it's a watch, right?) -Yes.
Puedo agarrarlo? (Can I take it?) -What's she saying?
She's saying that she likes your watch and she wants it.
This?
Rings make you happy, do they?
Ring make happy.
Rings make you happier than happiness?
Si, si!
What is?
Oh, it's tissue.
What are you thinking?
Why couldn't it make me happy to say to the woman take the ring or watch, is yours.
But I can't do it.
Too attached to it. It represents too much to me.
I always ????think we get attached to things, because I'm feeling a lack of love.
Maybe.
These are Monte Bayana ice peaks.
You go to... to the ice peaks?
Is this where the UFOs come from?
Many, many xxxx.
But they land to. Where they land, they leave big marks.
If you come close to them, they go away!
From where are they?
From the stars.
Stars? -Yeah.
Some they say they come to study us.
This is a fairyland. - This is the the regular Sunday fair.
Beautiful!
I'm loving it here, David.
Do you ever get depressed or lonely?
Sure.
How do you get through it?
Well, I guess for me happiness is by knowing what I believe in.
You never seem to have any self doubt.
No.
