I do thrift a lot of my clothes
And it's like better for the environment and also better for your wallet
And like since clothes are being recycled basically, they're going to last longer
so you know you're buying good clothes, so that's the reason you should thrift
Leave a reusable bag in your car
Something that I do is I compost
And so yeah, I compost
I go to the farmers market every Saturday to get a compost bucket
And then I return it and I get
like a discount on their local produce
I usually shop from some sustainable brands like Sookie
They're based in canada, all of their clothing is
completely 100% ethical and
made on wages that are livable
all the clothing there is just premium quality.
One sustainable hack that I have is
bringing a usable utensil set with me around campus so
whether I bring my own lunch or go to one of the restaurants at the MU
I always have it, instead of the non-recycle plastic ones
I try to purchase locally grown foods and
cook my own meals instead of buying out
Taking public transit whenever I can, riding my bike,
eating a mostly vegetarian diet
bringing my lunch to work most every day
in reusable containers
making sure I always have a reusable utensil set on me and a reusable bottle
and try to bring my own bags whenever I go to the grocery store
