There are only seven ships for eleven pilots in Quebec. There is a ship disembarking ahead of us, so it's going to be seven for twelve. I'll be the thirteenth pilot in line for the seven ships, so I probably won't get one tomorrow or later today. I'll get one... probably on Friday. 0-7-8. -0-7-8! 0-7-8 set. -OK thank you! 7-7. -0-7-6. -7-6. 7-6 0-7-6 set. —OK. Quebec Traffic, Federal Kumano. Federal Kumano, this is Quebec Traffic, enjoy the rest of your trip. —Thank you very much! Good night. Quebec Traffic, Federal Kumano. Kumano, this is Trafic Quebec. We're disembarking in Saint-Nicolas. There is a ship heading to Saint-Nicolas via the Saint-Lawrence to embark. It will be at the station around 2:40 am. OK, thank you. 0-8-0. —0-8-0. 0-7-8. —0-7-8. 0-7-8. —OK. 15 minutes notice to the maneuvering speed. —Alright, sir. Quebec Traffic. Yes? Just letting you now that for now, I won't... I'm going to wait for the embarking ship to arrive so it will probably be a bit later, about an hour and 45 minutes for... it will probably be a bit later. No problem. After Kumano... Thank you! Will there be time for you to show us the pilots' room? -Oh, I forgot. —0-6-5. —0-6-5. —Yes, sir. —Where's the pilot cabin? —It's just in there. Just in there, ok. We are turning for 0-6-5. We are turning for 0-6-5. OK, sir, 0-6-5. So, it's a very basic small cabin. It's here in case we need to rest. For example, if the ship is anchored or delayed before departure, or if we're delayed before disembarkation, we can come in here. But when I'm on board, driving the ship is my responsibility so I don't really have time to rest in the cabin. Sometimes I'll come use the bathroom, but otherwise I don't come here often. Last week, when we had mechanical problems, once we were anchored I went to rest in order to be in shape for the rest of the trip, which was 13 hours. It's a long trip. We've been able to see them for a while, but the bridges are starting to be more visible now. First, the Pierre-Laporte Bridge, then the Quebec Bridge. I'm starting to gather my things.
